Haha, that's awesome you were the original uploader.

Thanks for letting me know.

I see the first one seedling is indeed from harvest moon, just recolored which is lame. The rest I don't see a match, but I'll trust you.

For an explanation, these plant sprites were originally in the 'gbost town' tileset which was for a game I was making for the gameboy. Pretty sure half that tileset is just things thrown together from other games as placeholders, but they were never removed, and I did end up posting the game here, and later when I made this page for sprite art, I ended up including that tileset and even copying the little plants into another tileset. I'll take off the gbost town tileset and remove the little plants from everything else and that should be ok.

In particular, I have not tested on .mkv with multiple video streams, very tiny/large resolutions, or extreme aspect ratios.

Also the preview image is for now the very midpoint of the video, but sometimes this part of the video is black and so the preview doesn't really show the scramble at all as a result.

I think it will fail if you try to save the video over the existing video, thus the default "_scrambled" postfixed to the filename.

Aside from those things I don't know what else might cause problems.

Same problem here

fair, i heavily referenced and edited an rpgmaker tileset (among many others) to know what to include and for inspiration. it seems the ascending stairs, bed, tombstone, the crates of produce, the rectangular table, little chairs, and some others aren't differentiated enough

i went through and picked tiles from what i saw in both mine and the rpgmaker tilesets, then went and looked at various zelda and final fantasy tilesets for making comparisons. the descending stairs and water well you just shared don't seem bad. i would argue the descending stairs from final fantasy more resemble rpgmaker's. the bookcases and table also seems to be heavily inspired from zelda.

not too bad, i expected much worse of my past self, there is still plenty of other wholly original or sufficiently differentiated tiles. if you see anything else that's obvious let me know and i'll remove it

(1 edit)

i think you meant to say this:

"some times in `rpg_tiles.png`, specifically these ones

look like rpgmaker 2000 tiles"

in which case you're right, they have the same structure, and the wooden plank one in particular is just a visually cleaner edit of such a tileset. the others are just a result of using tiles i already made and putting them into that same rpgmaker tile orientation (3x4; 3x3 of border grass, inner dirt, etc; 1x3 tiles above)

correct me if i'm wrong

yeah, that's fine

good thanks. yeah you can technically just scale it up to 200% size. it will be low detail compared to actual 32x32 art though
