Just so I'm clear, when we download those files for this hotfix, does that make any shortcuts we had to start the game (icon on desktop) open the corrected version? Or were we supposed to complete uninstall the game first then download the newer version? 

I've sent a crash report already earlier but want to second that this happens to me too, constant random crashing after solving the pillar puzzle. It's funny  that it's different from the other crashes involving taking pictures. With those the game freezes and makes all screen go out for few seconds before the error comes up. But with this one that doesn't happen.

The fatal error crash seemed to not happened at all when I downloaded after the Pink Moon update and I got pretty far in collecting photos before recently starting to do the same crashing right at the moment of taking a photo. I've sent the crash long when it first happened like  I've been instructed. I'd like to ask anyone else that this does happened to, is there any other thing that is consistent in those crashes. 

Has anyone reported any crashing yet? Cause to my shock at least in my very short test after re-downloading the latest version, the crashing at taking a picture every now and then hasn't happened yet.

I'm afraid to get my hopes up though.

not sure if you still need this but instead of turning the nob when you get it on screen, you click on the numbers and it will automatically move it to there and make a click noise when done right.

For now the only other thing I can tell you is the taking pictures is always the moment it crashes but when and how  is now completely random. At the start it was every third picture before taking it to the computer to submit. But lately that's been random sometimes making it all the way to the 10 max limit. But I've discovered that even if I just take one picture and then go to the computer to immediately submit it to bring the total pics on me to zero, even that doesn't prevent the crash eventually happening. So I wonder if it really is something with saving the photos temporarily on the ram. 

Also like that other user mentioned the GPU's 3D, copy, copy1, and dispute did all jack off the scale at the moment of crash and AMD gives the error " AMD software detected that a driver timeout has occurred" as well. Hope that all give some insight.

These fatal errors did not happen until this update. I had the previous version for a few hours before and had taken so many pictures I filled up the cameras capacity in game. Now only about 3 photos and a crash. 

but what bad hardware would it be? This all makes no sense to me. How is taking pictures going to be responsible for taking up too much ram or doing anything that drastic to cause a crash after like 3 photos?

I am constantly getting fatal error crashes. and it seems to happen once in a while right at taking a photo

No, I mean I click the download button and it give me just one single file (PHD DEMO v0.17) and it's a file that windows just doesn't know what to do with. It doesn't even have its own icon.

I don't see any setting about turning nsfw on. Is this update not in the demo on steam? How are the sex scenes acquired?

Yes the original demo has sex scenes, yes this is very different, and yes it's a lot more difficult. But man I like the character models, the voice acting, and just the personalities.
