...This mod has warmed up to me greatly, so a lot of my old criticisms from before I really played this mod have kinda vanished.

Although there is one I do have. I kinda hoped there was a little more separation between The Garden and the rest of the game.

It makes the area and some of the enemies that appear there feel a little less special, like the Medamaude and the Midnight Traffic Light. It kinda lessons their impact and unique feeling when they can appear in the Orpheum, even rarely. Similar feelings with *most* of the enemies that are plentiful in the Orpheum (or even Far Shore) that can just appear in The Garden willy-nilly.

It would also be cool if the graphics could be closer to the game's artstyle one day, but I don't worry about that one as much. It would be nice, but it's not a necessity.

It's even charming to me now, but that's probably just me.

...Right, I keep forgetting that Steam Workshop is happening.

I can't help but wonder how many of the mods I use won't make the switch, and if Itch mods and Steam Workshop play nice with each other...?

Already posted the issue to Marmo's Fools, but found a bug between this and that.
When mimicking Warsaw's move Hack to Chunks, the Camera Lens enemy freezes and locks the fight, needing a reset.

I think something about how the move handles being able to move confuses the enemy, as it has no idea how to interpret that. Searching for something that isn't there.

Experienced a bug between Salt Enemies and Warsaw. When performing Hack to Chunks, the Camera Lens copycat enemy freezes the fight, and needs me to exit the game and reset the battle.

I think something about "If this [enemy] is able to manually move" confuses it.

...oh.

Sorry, didn't realize that's how it was meant to work, my bad.

...Having bugs with Babypult and Cross. Babypult's passive says it will transfer passives besides it's own to whatever baby it spawns, but it never seems to do that. And I experienced a softlock with Cross, seemingly when I tried to add over six moves to an enemy. Caused the "Wait..." prompt to be stuck on all other characters. Happened in a boss fight, too.

Could those get patched soon? I've recently gave this mod a try and I love the fools I've found so far.

For some reason, Champ doesn't show up in the Fool selection menu.

Hopefully the bosses can get proper intro cutscenes eventually. Still, this mod's really neat.  Love all the cool ideas, although I feel at times the Splugling makes the Two Faced enemies in the Garden a little less special...

...also bug I've found: the Sheo's corpse sprite for after combat floats a bit off the ground.

Also current tierlist:

(subject to change as I learn this mod)

You're welcome for the idea! I like just coming up with stuff, little things like this too. So it's really nice to see one of my ideas get to see the light of day!

...Thank you for the Salt Enemies "TM" crossover encounters, as well. Recently got into the mod. Caught me off guard with how good that one turned out to be. Thought it was some kinda kaizo mod at first glance.

Hopefully all the music for that gets uploaded because it is FRUSTRATING not having the complete soundtrack online with such IMMACULATE tracks.

Critters!!

Also the unlock quest dialogue on the wiki page is delightful, the way Dumpling talks makes her sound adorable and I hope it gets added someday.

Ah, fair enough.

Hopefully one day, but understandable.

...fly me to the moon, and let me play among the stars...

...Let me see what spring is like, on jupiter and mars...

...genuinely, who is that? is that madotsuki doing the alex yiik pose...?

I like these folks, they fit in well, for the most part. I like having a Delusion as an ally, too. Although I kinda wonder what a proper unlock quest for Bartholomew and Esther would actually look like...?

...Unless they did have some, but I just somehow already met the conditions, so I got them as soon as a I met them. Oh well.

Really neat, either way.

Always love me more enemy variety.

YIPPEE!!

...Oh wait, that's how it works?

Because I feel like I've been seeing the Doula a lot more than the other two Intruders.

...If it was on, would I not be seeing the other two at all...?

Thank you immensely. That one floored me when I heard it in game, couldn't get enough of it, and it'll be delightful to get a bunch of other tracks I've been missing.
Could I also harass you to harass the Ipnopidae's track composer to post their works as well?

...Sidenote, it's kinda like I'm playing Yume 2kki all over again. One big collaborative wonder...

Unfortunately not complete. There's still songs missing. Some really good ones, too.

(1 edit)

Also there are so many songs in this mod but I have so much trouble finding them online. Is there a complete soundtrack I can listen to somewhere...?

If there isn't, I hope one gets finished, someday.

I am bringing this up entirely because of Your New Life!, I CANNOT FIND THE SONG HELP I NEED IT

Hopefully you can make those enemy counterparts one day. It's a cool concept I'd love to see more of.

I've caved recently because of the music I've heard, and I am honestly loving this mod. More than I originally thought I would.

I've barely started, but I'm already excited to see what each enemy's come up with next.

Also oh my GOD the Deep Water effect is gorgeous on the enemies side. I need more ways to inflict it on the enemies, it's so good.

Fair enough, haha.

...Is there a way to turn off that increased boss chance for the Doula?

...Enemy Pack adds fifth versions of other pigment enemies. Will this mod ever get that fifth version to go along with them?

Is there a config file for this mod? Having more dead to talk to is delightful, and this provides in comedic spades, but I can tell some of these aren't for everyone. But I still wish to recommend it to others, so yeah.

If it doesn't could one maybe be added?

Fair enough. While I'm always excited for more Brutal Orchestra, don't overwork yourself. I'll be happy to see what you add next at whatever pace is best for you.

Will this mod ever have compatibility with Enemy Pack? It would be delightful to fight some of that mods' enemies side by side with your own.

Or even just encounter them trying to taste from the Fountain of Youth.

The game will not run for me, and says something like "2003 not found" so I think I'm missing something here. In more ways then one.

I'd like to ask what I need to do to run this, because this game looks wonderful, and I am eager to play it.
