I noticed that Art of Heat Up wasn't making Aura's Heat Up II a drastic buff. On a hunch I used the cheat console to make her MATK greater than 50 again and it worked properly.
The text of the skill itself doesn't specify a required minimum stat to function-- the book has one to read it, but requirements to learn a skill aren't usually the same as requirements to continue benefiting from them-- for example, you don't lose access to rampage III if your attack drops below 80.
With options like magic threads to dump MATK after learning the spell, in addition to the usual way of dropping stats like gaining a stage of the Cursed condition, if this is the intended behavior I think the text of the skill entry itself should be modified

Ironically (because I definitely originally bought this just for the nsfw) Nightmare Pure (or nearly pure) runs are my favorite. Balancing the economy and racing the clock before her mind breaks is a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the thrill of trying to one-up my new game+ score each time. I've tried doing a corruption run recently and it honestly just feels kinda slow after how hard I've gotten accustomed to pushing Aura, tbh.
I say nearly because lately I always take 2, sometimes 3 lewd acts-- I read the initial book for +3 atk, get the discount from the alchemist, and sometimes held the formula peddler. Having the momentum to beat my earlier scores simply got very hard without those once I'd started pushing into the very late game. Now that my victory score is almost maxed out save the -6 points from those 3 acts, though, I'll probably do my next run completely pure again.
This is supposed to be a bit of a puzzle. I can give the answer outright if you really want, but for now I'll just give a pair of hints-- first, look for a book in the murdered man's room that mentioned anything specific besides aura. that's the in universe hint for what the key should look like. Second-- Search in important rooms. rooms you'd have to enter for the story. It's not in an optional zone, not squirreled away in a corner, and obviously not missable (such as arwin's manor or the RSR)
I don't know if this is a bug or a change I missed, but the new game I started in .49 doesn't let me dispose of cursed flesh like it used to. Despite having 90 willpower, well over the 50 required, If I click on Aura with it she automatically eats it without having a prompt to dispose of it. this worked normally in my last play through
