Say hello to Cold Jack! He is a long-time friend of Mike Cool. Mike always drags Jack to the most unexpected but also fun adventures. This time, the two friends had a really wild party last night and they barely remember anything. They find themselves at a beach at morning, with the sun hitting their faces... and actually melting Mike! Mike has to find his way home before he fully mets at the sun.
About the technical progress of today, we finally fixed the stamina bar: after its depletion, the character can no longer run, at least until the bar is full again.
Also, we already started working on the health bar, and we are planning something special for it.

We are a small team of college students who found nothing better to do with our short vacations before 2nd semester starts.
Therefore, we decided to participate in our first game jam ever!
Henceforth, this marks the beginning of our journey to develop something that resembles a playable game through unknown territory, in search of enlightenment and self-improvement at personal and academic levels.
Obviously, the first step is to define the concept of the game and its mechanics. Because we always want to be original, we strayed away from the most common idea generated by the provided theme, that is coldness hurts. So, after a lot of yelling, punches thrown and chairshots received civilized discussion between all the team members, we decided that in our game, the character is a snowman who wakes up drunk at the beach and he has to find his way back home, before he melts. In other words, in our game, cold is cool (pun intended), it prevents you from dying.
Here's an early depiction of the main character, the snowman Mike Cool:
Besides that, we already started to program the basics, and its going brilliantly as you can see in the following video:
