Remember though that paintjam is more about enjoying building the game, there is no reward other than the game you build.

So if taking an engine and changing the sprites works for some, let it be!

AI is limiting the number of max simultaneous enemies, we wanted the game to become hard but not unplayable. 

We also tested it for a variety of patterns, but we couldn't test all strategies given the limited amount of time we had to finish it. 

We'll be issuing an update after the jam to fix some glitches...

Pretty good game! The only downsides is that it was hard to understand what to do.  After a while  I saw the apple tree.

For sure! Would be even more fun if you setup a high score competition with your audience!

Fun! A little glitch with the soup when it reaches the mouse cursor..

Very good, especially the artwork!!! 

Just a comment though, in high DPI screens, your game shows in a small window which cannot be resized or maximized... Something for a little fix later on!

Thanks for your review! We left it like that because we thought it adds to the challenge... (shoot'em down instead of shoot' em up!) As enemies approach you from the other side, you have to make 180 degree turns which increases the difficulty!
