When did you actually download the game? If it was prior to Sunday the 15th, then the issue has already been fixed but will require a new download.

Heya! I have recompiled the downloader app and had my phone download it directly from Itch rather than just testing locally. After a little tweaking, plus adding a download status bar, I can confirm it is working now.

Please try it again!

Heya! I have recompiled the downloader app and had my phone download it directly from Itch rather than just testing locally. After a little tweaking, plus adding a download status bar, I can confirm it is working now. Please try it again!

I just tried it and it loaded perfectly. You might attempt with a different browser, or disabling add-ons.

I'm not sure what to do about it :( I've tested it myself on my phone and it works perfectly. This new android package has been downloaded and installed by others 40 times without problem. I'm not sure, but is there a way for you to see if it's even trying to do the download? Basically, what you download from Itch just reaches out to my server to grab all the data files. Google has a hard limit of 2gb of the APK, so anything above that has to be done like this. Games like Genshin Impact do it this way as well.

Depending on your wifi speed, give it a little time to download. Not sure why your device isn't showing any kind of status info, but it definitely is programmed to be there.

After a while, just go open the same app again and it should have the game.

Hello, I just double checked and there are still plenty of keys in Itch's database. There should be a "Request Key" button on your purchase confirmation page.

Heya! I did a +1 for you :) While I love my Patrons, I certainly don't focus on it. I agree with you. The fact that they (and Itch) won't let us adjust our currency rates is really annoying, and it hurts us as devs, you as supporters, and Patreon and Itch as companies.

BTW is available on Steam, with fair currency conversions. I actually review them periodically to make sure they stay in line.

I'm glad you like the game! :)

Heya! Feel free to reach out to me and I'll take care of you. Email support@droosk.com. I won't ask you to prove anything, I just need your info so I know which payment to refund.

Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know. I've corrected that!

Thanks for that. You may want to check back this weekend. Chapter 7 is coming :)

I'll make a new build tomorrow, see how it goes.

The current chapter is almost certainly the last chapter that will be done for Android, as the game is at the hard 2gb limit for Android APK. I highly suggest getting the Windows version. It can be run on your Android device via the JoiPlay app.

I don't know what to say on this. The Android version has a bunch of downloads, and no one has reported a single issue with it. The most common result from Google says that it's likely due to a previous version already being there and having a conflict.

Unfortunately, due to the restriction on file sizes, Android direct releases are no longer possible. The game is now 2.6gb and the max size for an Android APK is 2gb. If you've purchased the game, you can still play on Android via a free intermediary app such as Joiplay. These apps allow you to run the Windows version of the game on your Android device. Again, Joiplay is entirely free.

Hello and thank you for the question! As the other person said, the only real differences are in the form of Achievements and Cloud Saving. Though it should be noted that any purchase on Itch will also get you a Steam key.

12 is the plan, but that is subject to change based on story needs. If the story starts to run dry, without quality narrative to support it, I'll begin wrapping it up. I won't artificially extend it just for the sake of hitting the mark of 12 chapters.

With C6, there are ~190k words, nearly the length of two standard novels!

Thank you! I've fixed the error and updated the apk.

Sorry, but there is not :(

The itch and Steam versions are the same :) I updated them at the same time.

Thank you! Yes, both the Steam and Itch versions include Chapter 5, as well as all future content. Right now, the plan is for 12 chapters, with at least 20 hours of content for a play through, and 4 possible endings. Each ending will be significant in length in it's own right as well. I will not be doing little 5 minute "and they lived happily ever after" type wrap ups. They will be proper endings.

Chapter 2, which contains both 1 AND 2, is now available for free as a demo download!

You are insanely generous. Thank you orto!

Thank you! And thank you for your support! I spend an insane amount of time on this :) I already have big plans for Chapter 4, which will see our friends return to the game world, and have started writing :)

Android release now includes a higher resolution font, should be easier on the eyes :) New update is out now!

Orto, you already paid a bunch. I'll DM you in Discord with a link ASAP. You don't need to donate again! I appreciate it though!

Thank you for this. I will look into possibly using a higher resolution font for the APK build, to make it easier on tablets/phones in future builds.

Yeah, its purely a text glitch. The variable itself is set correctly. It'll be fixed in the next update, and will cause no issues with saves.

Still in the closet though.

Wow, thanks for the video!

Thanks :) I appreciate the kind words!
