The Full Prologue for my Danganronpa fangame, DR REVIVE, is now live!

A mysterious, whacky, and funny visual novel based on the Danganronpa series, with my original characters and plotline. Also, a bit scary at times, and will address some pretty serious societal issues in the future, but I try to keep the tone humorous when I can! This is a fun ride for DR fans and for those who have never played the series. 

This story is also very queer! I'm a queer game developer, so my characters tend to steer in that direction as well. 

I'm super excited for this update, and I hope you all enjoy playing it!

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I honestly didn't expect someone to do a playthrough! 

I watched your video, it was a lot of good feedback. Caught some typos that I missed. And I totally agree, I want to add sound effects in the future, just a bit of a time issue at the moment. I'm participating in Artfight and I wanted the demo out before that, so it was a bit rushed.

Sorry it ended on a cliffhanger, but I'm hoping to get the rest of the prologue out by the end of the year, just have to make a lot of art for it to look like how I envision it to.

This is the first game I ever made, and it's very much a personal project that I'm making solely for my own enjoyment, to depict a story I have been developing for over two years now (the entire plot is complete, just gotta make the game.) BUT I'd still love to share it with anyone else interested, so give it a playthrough if you'd like and I'd love to hear comments on what people think!

This is a Danganronpa fangame, but it's a completely original cast, plot, and world (only borrowing the very basic concept of 'killing game with ultimate students' and the concept of a 'talent program') The demo introduces the main setting and all the main characters, so it's a way to get to know the cast a bit while I work on creating the rest of the prologue. 

For a more detailed description of the game for people unfamiliar with Danganronpa fangames, check out the game link. I have more info there. Also, there's no need to be familiar with Danganronpa to play this game, all relevant context is explained in-game. As far as mood goes, expect silly, sweet, mysterious, and creepy! Scary at points, but that's not in the demo. 

I'm not going to lie, this is going to be a slow-going project since I'm the only one working on it, and I'm making most of the art assets myself. HOWEVER I am very dedicated to completing it one day, and I'll be releasing sections at a time as I complete them.
