Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been too active the last months...
I left the project on a pretty buggy build, but I haven't really felt motivated to do anything about it for some time. Thought I might do something about it some day soon (introducing some MAJOR changes, such as milk and large cardboard surfaces).
For now though, yes I use the HDRP package (after a few bad experiences with URP) so I'm planning to keep it that way, at least for now.
That doesn't sound right. It could happen if you haven't restarted your computer for some time or if you have too many apps running or tabs open in your browser.
It can also happen if you don't unpack the game files or unpack them directly inside the downloads folder.
