I just picked up this book, and so far I'm really digging it! I'm a huge fan of items and load in FitD games, and the work you've done with load in this game (especially how it relates to magic and spells) is an inspiration. I'm in love with the bandolier and all the alchemicals especially. I can see a lot of Band of Blades in the game's DNA, and I think you've applied things like level 5+ harm and the heritage traits really well.

Couple of things you might've already caught, your early "explaining the rules" chapters reference a few things like actions directly from Blades in the Dark.

Keep chugging along, I'm very excited to see what you add next!

You might be right! As it is now, the Merc playbook gets a fine laser guided rpg as a special item for 2 load. I thought that it being fine and specifically laser guided made it valuable enough compared to a regular Heavy Weapon being an rpg. Do you think I should keep the Heavy Weapon as non explosive things like greatswords and machine guns? The Superscience Weapon kind of fills the same niche as an rpg, only with more razzle dazzle
