So where do I go to play as Ambe and/or Lily? I managed to get Kuon, but not those two.

I have enjoyed all the previous games from you and by no surprise I have enjoyed the initial part we get to play here. Love that you are expanding on animations and can't wait to see what else is in store.
As far as the game goes I still just don't care to interact with the ship battles. They don't feel rewarding, and are a slog to do. If the first game is anything to go by I'll find the shop that lets me upgrade past the relevance of the battles and try to speed through them. This is just a personnel preference thing for me, but maybe other feel the same.
While I am enjoying my time with the game, I just do not understand the best way to get 3 stars. I don't know if its go for greens, throw as much as fast as possible, or bundle a bunch of colors all at once. I did notice after a bit of playing there really doesn't seem to be any overflow for the satisfaction bar: throw a green at 95%, next bar is still starting at zero and immediately going negative. It really feels counter-intuitive to how'd want to play. Still pretty fun when the bucket throwing physics want to cooperate.
While I enjoyed my time with the game and can't wait to see what's to come there are a few things that need to addressed. Unless I missed somewhere, there is nothing in the game that informs you that you can pick up and throw items. The only clue is from the puzzle that requires you do it. Now ordinarily this would be great time to tutorialize the interaction, but your just left to your own devices to figure it out. Continuing with puzzles, the reward moment should when you solve the puzzle, not 7 minutes later after you walked the key piece back through the level. The "Ah ha" moment gets replaced with "Finally, it's over". That can push players away from wanting finish the game.
All in all, it's still promising, and I want to play more.
