Skill issue

What an artful blend of form and function! Super cute little experience; it was really fun exploring both characters as progression. I did have a bug where the instruction box was blocking V, W, and X; I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish the game, but managed to get rid of it with inspect element. I'm glad I was able to see it through to the end, though, as it's a lovely wholesome ending to a great story.

It's nice to see such a simple concept so elegantly executed. The gameplay is super satisfying, even though I keep  dying just as I'm starting to get kitted out lol (skill issue). Really clean art style,  animations, and sound! I have found the gold pellets hard to distinguish from similarly-colored enemy projectiles; a different shape might help, and/or a curved travel path. Awesome game!

Certain weapons are objectively better than certain other ones, but sometimes they have special traits that you may want to switch between.

No, I'm using Firefox on Linux.

Not sure if this is just an issue on my end or with the website or what, but the playable area seems to expand outside the frame in both windowed and fullscreen modes, such that some text is cut off and items sometimes fall out of view, becoming unreachable. Great concept for a game which I'd love to give a fair shake, but borderline unplayable given this issue.

I've tried several entries and this has got to be one of my favorites! Super creative concept with nice, sleek execution. There's definitely potential for expansion into a full desktop title (or, more fittingly, I guess, a mobile app :P)
