I think I like this weird fuzzy feeling. My first time making something for this site aside from offering to edit/proofread someone's TTRPG, and this is...Phew. This was a great experience, and I wanna thank the organizers for putting it all together.
So, I'm thinking of making a Caltrop Core game with some journaling aspects about trying to avoid Hollowing. It will *heavily* abstract combat, but I feel like my favorite part of DS2 was the recurrent cycle of memory and how that built into the metanarrative of multiple kingdoms all fighting one another, and we all love the Crestfallen Warrior, right?
Also this is my first time doing a game jam so I have no idea how it'll go. Maybe great! Maybe awful! We'll see!
I've made a bit of a quarantine project of doing in-depth readings of RPG playtests. I'd like to do one for your game, but don't want to send you a couple thousand words if you're not interested. Would you be okay with me doing one of those for Drier Deserts, Hotter Suns?
