Nice work! I enjoyed the graphics, the mechanics, and the concept of this game. I do think the timing of the shooting was a little off. I had difficulty aiming appropriately at the houses because the gift/anvil would sway to the side. Good job though! I liked how it constantly changed by rotating the camera

Great job! I think I played this game longer than any other in this jam. I did think it would have been more fun if there was a variety of enemies and if they attacked more frequently. I also thought it was too easy. I don't know if any of my elves actually died. It would have been cool to see a little more battling. Good job though!

Thanks for playing and glad you like the anvil implementation :)

We considered a powerup to bring the presents back to the center but during crunch time it was one of the things we left out. We were pretty meticulous about bugs so thanks for noticing!

Oh great! I would love to play again. I enjoyed the character and the mechanics of the player. I’ll play shortly :)

Hm. That’s very interesting. I haven’t encountered that bug. The enemies throw yellow snow balls that freeze the player and cover him in ice. Could it be that?

Thanks for playing and I’m glad you enjoyed it! :)

Gotcha! Yeah there is only so much we can do with the limited time :P

I loved the snowman animation! I was able to fly around the game while the present list was open and the second level didn't show the text on the present list. I think this was fun though! I would have wanted more levels ;)

You’re right, I guess I’m thinking of the bouncing of the objects on the diagonal colliders. My mind instantly goes to puzzle, but I guess it’s not now that I think of it

I understood that, I guess you lose points when you miss a child, but maybe you can have an incentive when you get a child their present?

Thanks for the input! That would have been cool to implement, like you said, if we had more time. I appreciate the suggestion. That’s something to consider moving forward! I’m glad you enjoyed the game :)

Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the helpful feedback :)

We considered a powerup to bring the presents to the center, but instead tweaked the enemies so they are slower when dragging the presents outward. Thanks for playing!

I liked the flashing Jesus haha this was a fun puzzle game!

Thanks for checking it out! I agree! Nice job!

Haha I think you can totally expand on this! It was fun

This was fun and clever! I was hooked! I do wish it had some game music though to make it more exciting. Other than that, good job! Loved the retro art and vibe

This was fun! I do wish you could click through to make it run a little quicker though. But I enjoyed the gameplay! Nice work

(1 edit)

I really enjoyed the concept and love the snowman art! I do wish it was a little more "possible" to win. I would have loved if it felt like a fair chance. I guess Snowey never stood a chance against the flaming anvils haha

Fun game! I thought the controls were smooth except for running into the walls. But I enjoyed playing as the elf!

This is cool! I was hooked from the start! I was confused by the meter though. It seemed like no matter how well I was doing I never really "won." Still fun though!

This was unique! I was not expecting the ending haha and it's cool that you made several versions

This was super neat! It was a little confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was fun. I do wish I could see the action a little more. I felt like I was making gifts and not really seeing what was going on. I also wish the gifts wouldn't float away from me. This was fun and unique though! Very innovative

I think this game has a lot of potential! I couldn't get past the tutorial though lol. I kept making trash and didn't fully understand. I also wish you could place objects on the floor so I can make space on the tables.

Haha, poor Timmy. This was really hard but fun! I wish it was made so I could make it full-screen. The play button was so small I didn't realize you could actually play it. Good job on the game though. Simple and funny!

Well done! I had a lot of fun. This is actually very similar to my game so it was interesting to see a different concept. I enjoyed the store, except I kept wanting to press the escape key when I was in there and it would get me all messed up. So maybe that was just me but I think that might be a natural reaction to want to escape. Good job though! I got to 9 rounds and lost haha

I thought the concept was pretty cool and I wanted to keep playing, but the lack of music really made me less motivated. I also felt like there were certain items I needed that I just never got so it made me lose interest. I do think this has a lot of potential and given the time frame I think its great!

Fun game! I was hooked and wanted to keep playing. I think the music could have been more exciting for the type of feel, it would have made me want to keep playing even more! I think there could have been more consistency. The first couple of times I played there were multiple gifts, but then I hardly got any. The gifts make you want to keep going! Great work!

Great job! I was good enough to make me want to keep playing! The controls felt a little stiff, but I enjoyed playing. Would have loved to see some VFX with the hammer!

I’m glad you liked it :) I’ll certainly give it a try

Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

This was fun! I thought ripped Santa was funny and thought the snow sound was well done as well as the maneuvering. I wish it had an end goal. It seemed like it just kept going without getting harder or reaching a finish line. I enjoyed playing!

I thought this game was fun! I played to the very end. I enjoyed the audio but was confused about when he would say "Merry Christmas," but I enjoyed the music selection. I also like the Santa animation. The last level seemed endless and the spikes seemed to stop chasing me so it stopped being challenging. Nice work though!

I enjoyed the grinches. I wish you had the controls listed somewhere. I won the game without pushing anything. I would fix that bug. Fun game it made me want to keep playing.

Good job! I thought it was a little confusing that it had me push space even though the meter was high. Maybe it was meant to be tricky?

Ha! Thanks for playing. I’m impressed! It can be a little difficult for first time players. Nice job!

Thanks for playing! It can take a minute to get the hang of, but once you got it, it’s smooth sailing from there :)

Haha Rudolph has been eating protein cookies this year

Thanks for playing :)

haha yeah I noticed. Adds a nice frantic kinda feel

Thanks for playing! The enemies and Santa are original art. Glad you enjoyed it :)
