That didn't fix the issue. But I reimported the original items and using the "new" present box works perfectly, so I'll just use that!

I've had a recent issue.The present box throwable doesn't create any sound on impact. The default sounds are in there when I go into the item, but when I click on one to set it, it unselects it as soon as I leave the sound tab and goes back to playing no audio. 

Am I doing something wrong?
