I agree and recommend this game to any first time jammers. The writing is really well done and catches the atmosphere quite nicely. The only issues I had with this game were that some lines appear to be slightly cut off and the blue font color which is kind of hard to read on the black background.

I love that you actually implemented this. Looking forward to trying it.

The dialog-that-is-actually-readable update is now live! I switched from floating above character text to dialog boxes with portrait. Only the dialog option chooser still renders over the background.

I had a lot of fun playing this at the gamejam. If I find some time after Christmas, I might even implement an online version of this using boardgame.io. I hope that's ok with you.

That bug should be fixed now. I am planning for one morr little update before Christmas.

There is a web version and there has been from the start. :)

I guess I will have to make that more apparent next time.

Tough choice. I think I'll go with.. AK Damage +.
Great game, guys!

Should be fine now.

I did not know what to do on first try. Then I read the game description. This is actually pretty neat.

And inside the box is.... a golden dong? I thought these games were supposed to be SFW. ;)

This is actually a lot more challenging than I expected it to be. I like that.

I like the teleport mechanic. The download-version did not work for me (character does not move), but the browser-version worked fine.

So I tried guessing those countries and was reminded how bad I am at geography. :D Egypt? Seriously?! ;)

Love this. The loot boxes quickly become as annoying as in any other game. Even more so because you HAVE to open them before you are allowed to play. :D

I like the art and animations you created here. Intriguing story also. The gameplay gets a bit frustrating however, because the jump button does not always trigger as expected, and because you need to start over from the intro when you die (which apparently cannot be skipped?). Still has lots of potential, it just needs more polish (then again, which GameJam game, doesn't ;)).

I was really hoping to find a panda in the trashcan. Sadly, no. :( Otherwise, pretty impressive.

Oh, too bad. I would have liked to try and beat that boss. ;)

When I try to launch it, I sadly am treated to merely an error message "RPGVXAce RTP is required to run this game." Any idea how to fix that?

I managed to reach 800+ km/h... when I fell of the map to the North :)

What are the requirements to run this game?

I'm not sure that would be a good idea. They might be even more dangerous that way. ;)

Awesome! Now who can beat the new high score? :D

Best dialogue sounds ever. :)

When I tried to run this game, it showed a bunch of errors about missing libraries (SDL2.dll, lua51.dll and more).  Any ideas on how I can get it to work?

Making screenshots in VR is a bit harder than one might think ;) But I uploaded three of them anyway.

Thanks. And yes, I expected that from the beginning. I think I'll at least add some screenshots for those who cannot try it.

I tried the 64bit version first, but I think that one's broken (and it does come without a file extension). 32bit works nicely. especially like the art.

I played it on the keyboard and got 59 on first try. I like the looks and gameplay. The only thing I missed while playing was a score counter, so I was not sure whether objects had to pass in between to count or whether that was irrelevant.

hmm, some rotating does not work for me. I tried the arrow keys and just about all the others on my keyboard ;)

EDIT: Nevermind. Just realized I have to keep the mouse button pressed.
