Mission Briefing: Mindlink

An AI technology that restricts smart weapons from being used if the user or their intentions are blacklisted by the AI. The problem: In the future whitelisting is reserved entirely for corrupt cops and Megacorp PMCs.

Steam Gameplay trailer is live, this will give you a good idea of what the gameplay loop is like in Escape Condition as well as the overall mission design. 

0.9 alpha update is live

-FOV slider, movement default toggle, and other options added as well as the ability to change all settings from in-game pause menu
-Further art optimization
-Sound enhancement pass #1
-Melee weapon slot added with two melee weapons
-Melee weapons will do fire damage as player's quantum level increases (WIP)
-Damage scaling for easy mode in anticipation of requested difficulty option being added -Multiple bug fixes

Gameplay footage coming this week, thanks to the testers for their feedback and bug hunting

Sounds good I've received new testing keys from Steam I'll send confirmation emails separately with keys for people who contact me along with steps for those who haven't done beta testing before.

ESCAPE CONDITION Modular Maps

Each map in the game can be changed in these three areas depending on player choice. The chart was added to keep track of the player's choices before each mission,

No prob, as a solo dev I don't have a hourly testing budget but I think you'll find that more likely on other projects with teams

Hi, no pay just a free copy of the game including future updates.  Are people generally looking to get hourly pay for playtesting as opposed to Early Access feedback testing?

Number of Players:                        8-10
~Session Length:                             3 single player campaign missions, each in 10-15 minutes. Up to 8 combinations since each mission has 2 possible choices to test
Testing Period:                                 01/25-02/25
Other Details:                                   Escape Condition is a single player FPS where you're tasked by a Future Resistance with fighting against AI's takeover, using the future's insight on which AI branches are the most impactful. For each branch you're asked to choose whether to travel back to your past to prevent it, or travel to the future to accept it and install a Cybernetic Mod that makes you more powerful.
