i think it's because he was using foundation/concealer to hide them. the same reason why he wasn't comfortable with taking off his shirt in day 1. most likely something to do with tattoos and him not wanting mc to see them.

from what i understand, this game has a dice roll mechanic, ie, each time you make a choice there is a randomizer that gives you random number

in the end you get 'your stat + dice roll number = the number that game checks in order to see if you pass or no'

for example: you need 15 to pass, you have 10 as your stat, you roll 6, you get 16 points, you pass the check. if you rolls less than 5, you fail the check

it's intended this way

but like developer said: failing doesn't mean losing, passing doesn't mean winning. either passing or failing a check will lead to different content. so always passing checks will make you miss out on certain content that might lead to alternative endings/variations of scene.

if you really want to pass check that badly, i recommend saving right before check and restarting until you pass it

phrase 'blood for the blood god' is initially from warhammer 40k and technoblade probably is/was a fan of warhammer which is why he used it

I have only one complaint about this game - you have ruined every potential real life relationship that I will ever have. How am I supposed to find someone like that IRL?!

On a more serious note, I enjoyed this game very much, I will play it many times for many years to come, I would even name this game GOTY (at least for me it is) of 2020 (because it made me feel all warm and giddy inside when nothing else could), I can't imagine this world without Our Life.

Thank you very much for providing one of the only things that made 2020 worth it.

P.s.: will the 4th step have different moments like the first three steps, or will it be a separate single moment (it's just that at the end of the 3rd step it was called Epilogue, so...)?
