Bandages heal 5, she deals random form 5 to 10. Therefore it’s never a good idea to heal. So your only choice is to fight. As far as I can tell, you deal as much damage as her, and she has more health, so it’s entirely random if you win or not. Combine that with a long sequence to get back to the fight, and you have a recipe for a frustrating encounter.

Are you supposed to be able to get out the hole in floor chapter 4? the one with the yellow room?

I gave up at frolle's wife, she seems to have more hp than you, and bandages don't heal enough, so it's all just damage luck
