oops, i forgot to mention, in order to build a rocket you first have to attach a part to the launchpad (anywhere in the grey square) with right click (ex grab an engine, make the bottom yellow circle overlap the launchpad, press right click, now every time you grab a new part the engine will highlight its yellow circle too)
When you hold middle click and move your mouse around you can rotate any part

Align the yellow circles together and press right click

hey btw did you notice sensitivity problems in any of my newer 3d games? (Operation backfire or the biplane game)

Yea the sensitivity thing might happen on high resolution screens because i messed up the input system, as for the delay i have no idea, does anything else lag?

I dont think i added 3rd person to this one, also once you cant drive anymore that's game over (kinda).
Might update this one, those are good suggestions, thanks for playing

hey thanks for playing, you get ammo after killing all the enemies on the round, tbh i really should've added a fail safe for the rare case you get too many enemies in consecutive rounds, oops, might add that someday.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!!! thanks for playing!

oh danggg, yeah my checkpoint system is not very robust tbh, will take a look at this soon. I'm planning to develop a sort of spin-off, to fix issues and introduce more content (Soviet spacecraft are so cool tbh), stay tuned if you are interested. Thanks for playing!!!!

i love it!!!! the art is wonderful! very well executed! would be nice to have another track of music(or make the same one not restart when you go to the next creature) but otherwise fantastic!

The minigames are real fun, (btw the shooter one sometimes spawns an asteroid wayyy too close to the ship!!!) It'd be nice to have a volume slider in the music app, otherwise nice collection of minigames, would be nice to see it expanded.

Cool little game! I think you missed putting an invisible ceiling so the player doesn't escape? Or is that intended? I was also only able to pick up a single rock, it wouldn't let me pick any more rocks afterwards

Very well executed, smooth animations and very good game loop. Overall an excellent roguelike. I found it a bit difficult but it is still enjoyable. Note that blocking the player from shooting while the inventory is open can cause confusion, because one can't tell if the inventory is open while looking at the opposite side of the screen, that is my only complaint.

odd, i'll look into it, thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!, A tutorial is on our top list of updates, we couldn't get that ready for release sadly, interesting idea to make it a mobile game!

Thanks for the  comment! Have you tried using the scroll wheel to zoom in and dragging with right click to move the camera? I forgot to include these controls in the page

Hey, would you like to join my team? I'm the designer/programmer, you can check out my work on my profile

this is very fun, typing feels smooth, very intuitive mechanics. good work on this! maybe different types of items instead of just healing would be nice, maybe make wrong letters punish you more?

Fun!, i think it would be a lot more challenging if you could only use the grapple hook. I found some bugs with the music when accidentally clicking off the window

Howdy

Here is a short action simulation game about piloting a WW1 era (kinda....) airplane and shooting down other aircraft! I made it to try and understand flight sims, and I think I got the controls to be realistic enough, the AI can be a bit silly however.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! is the sensitivity slider's range not wide enough? I can make it go lower if that is the issue

It seems I forgot to add a light around the last note, it could be a bit hard to spot without it, sorry, will add that tomorrow in a quick patch. Thanks for letting me know about that other bug! will see what I can do, and thanks for playing!

Terribly sorry about that, I just uploaded a patch that added some tick markers next to the initial three tasks (Check devlog for more info). Thanks for playing

* Also manual has been rewritten

Thank you so much for playing! yes, the moment you mentioned the zoom-in I realized my mistake!! I will include the scroll wheel control in the main page. I will also be re-writing the manual to be shorter and more to the point with the control scheme (Perhaps make the images larger too, sorry for the eye strain)

Operation Backfire is a short horror game where you pilot a repurposed spacecraft through the inter-dimensional void! keep up with your resources and hull integrity while avoiding what lurks above.
It runs on the browser or on windows, intended to be played in full-screen!

yeah, I agree, I couldn't find many ways to make building easier, considering every part has to be attached to another one.
As for the disasters, I'll add a strength slider soon, it seems like smaller houses are stronger against them. Thanks for trying out my game!

Thank you!, yeah the game ended up being a little bit too hard. I was thinking of reducing the speed of the falling rocks and increasing the swimming speed.

Nice and fun mechanics, controls great. Loving the artstyle and presentation too!

Really good! the animation on the caracter is great! the music is lovely and the levels are quite nice (With a good difficulty curve, or at least for me)

Good concept, nice drill mechanics. Slow paced but i guess that's the point!. not a fan of the fish sprites but its good   Good job man!

You forgot to include some dll binaries in the .ZIP, my dude. It won't start

Good fun, creative idea, overall good game!
(bit hard to get the first movie to be good, but it aint really a problem)

I see!, yeah that's a good idea, thanks for the feedback!

Thank you!, yeah there are some bugs with the controls that i have to fix.

Amazing!

amazing game!!! good job man
