Fun game Joshua! I made it to wave 7 before getting overrun. I really tried banking on the bramble but it didn't seem to work out sadly. I really like the art style by the way, it sends me back to the Newgrounds days. How did you get the sprites to be so clear by the way? I make my sprite art in Aseprite but its never smooth like yours so I'm curious.

Teo! I'm seriously impressed, man! There are so many more mechanics than the last build I played just a week ago! I have tried making platformers in the past, but I would always have trouble making enemies and projectiles--but you nailed them on your first try! Great work man, seriously. I can't sing your praises enough dude. Wow! I would love to play more, especially after the ideas you have for the game that you told me about.

And thank you for putting me in the credits screen. I put you in mine too, but I didn't think to put the credits at the title screen like you did--I wish I had! Next time, let's make a game together. Using what both you and I learned during this game jam!

Thanks Katya! My goal for the game proper would be 10 stages, with a story cutscene every 2 stages. You would use points to unlock new stages, as well as a few other things that didn't make it into the jam build. Such as new fishing rods, and lures that would make certain NPC's more likely to spawn than others. This was my first time trying to make a game, and so I've definitely learned quite a few things along the way lol.

Thanks again for the kind words! Once those bugs are out of the way, I'll have the basic frame work for the rest of the game done. It was such a rewarding experience participating in this jam--I'll be sure to join more from now on!

Space bar to end dialogue with fished up NPC, will add a prompt stating that later. I need a break! For my first time really trying to make a game though, I had a blast!

Oh yeah, and if you have 100 points and press Space bar in the Dorm room (hub area) you get to the credits. Thanks again to everyone that kept me going along the way. And to anyone that tries out my game, Thanks for playing! I reached my goal of 2 stages and 2 fish-able NPC's, though one of them is bugged sadly.
