Actually this game jam requires you to share your source code by linking the Github repository. Also with open source projects it’s not possible for someone to “steal” your project, since it will always be clear, that your project came first and is the original.

Unfortunately you did not include a link to the Github repository or source code. This way, it’s too risky for me to download and play your game, as I don’t know what it actually will do to my PC. Also the game is marked as being purchasable for 1$ on itch.io. I don’t think this is intended by the game jam.
Hey, I noticed that the background tiles in your game have black flickering lines between them.
I think this is a common bug with Unity's Tile System.
A simple fix is to expand the tiles in each direction for one pixel while not changing the slicing in the Sprite Editor.
