Oh, that's awesome! I'm happy to have been able to help! 😊

Well, that's true 😂 But honestly, even reading “The game is still being worked on!” from the devs is a huge relief for people interested in it. Silence is like, our worst nightmare since so many indie games get dropped out of nowhere because the devs went mia 😅 I would say writing SOMETHING every 3 months would make people feel reassured that the game is still being worked on (at least it would make me reassured). And we can wait a really long time once we know that a game's not abandoned 😂 But if you want to have updates that are a little more interesting, you could write things like: “Started writing chapter 5 of character A's route”, “The first half of chapter 5 of character A's route is done”, “The second half of chapter 5 of character A's route is close to being done”. Or something else if you don't really have routes. If you're still working on things besides writing you could mention them as well without having to actually show them. But seriously, even the most boring and repetitive updates are better than no updates at all 😅
As far as releasing the game in chapters is concerned in my opinion it depends on what you find most comfortable as creators, but some people might be very interested in the idea 😊 You could also choose to release the game by routes if they're not connected (aside from the common route of course).
Anyway, good luck with everything! 😊
Hi, I just wanted to say that you should perhaps update your Twitter. The last tweet is from 2023 and coupled with no itch.io updates since the release of the demo in 2022 it makes it seem as if the game has been abandoned 😅 I was actually just about to delete it from my collection, but thankfully decided to take one last look at this comment section 😂
I just wanted to say that if you want to use the images for something, you can always screenshot them :) There is even a button specifically meant for it (the “S” button), which is listed in the “Help” section of the game. And if you want to get rid of the text-box and the user interface in general for your screenshots, that's what the “H” button is for (again, listed in the “Help” section of the game).
Edit: I just realized that it might be “H” as in “Hide” 😂
Oh, I get it, thank you for your reply and explanation! 😊 I hope you'll be able to fund it completely through Patreon then! Also, I didn't know it was so difficult to port a game in Ren'Py to the Switch! Re-writing everything in a different code language?! It really is almost like doing everything from scratch again! And then you'd also have to beta test and bug-hunt and everything since it's a whole different code! I'm glad that I'm learning more about game development though, because it's really interesting 😊 Would it be the same with a mobile port? I think so, but I wanted to be sure.
It's so exciting that you're already this far into the development of your third game! 🤩 If you don't mind me asking: do you currently have any plans for a Kickstarter? If so, then perhaps one of the stretch-goals could be a Nintendo Switch port of the game! I mean, it's just a suggestion, but I'd personally be overjoyed! 😍 Even better if we could get Gilded Shows on the Switch in that way as well 😊 Good luck on the development! ✨
Wow, I had no idea you were working on this all by yourself! I didn't even think it was possible for a single person to create such an ambitious and high-quality game without working on it full-time or without spending literally 20 years on it, but apparently I was wrong 😳 Props to you and major respect! ♥️
I also wanted to ask, since the scope of the game has gotten bigger as you've mentioned, do you perhaps have a new estimated release date? Or maybe you'd rather just focus on development for now (since planning that far ahead can be stressful)? I'm simply asking because one of my hobbies, aside from gaming, is keeping track of games I'm interested in, both released and unreleased. So I'm “gathering data” 🤣🤣
Hi! Now that it's been almost a year since the last update I wonder if you perhaps have a slightly better idea of when the next one would be? I usually like to play games when they're already finished, one of the reasons being my bad memory (I'd either forget a lot of important information between updates or have to replay the whole thing everytime). If you don't then that's fine too, I just wanted to ask! I'm especially curious about Invar's route as it seems to be the biggest thing that's yet to be added to the game. Or perhaps it's not going to happen after all? Thank you for your hard work! ☺️♥️
Hi, do you perhaps have any updates? It's been 3 months since the last Kickstarter update, but not gonna lie, I'd also love to see an itch.io update (since I'm not a Kickstarter backer and can't change that now) because it's been 7 months since the last one and I wanna know what's happening 😂 Or like a public Kickstarter update or anything, really 😂 I'm really excited about this game and the release date was supposed to be Q2 2023, but I'm not sure whether that's still the case, so I'd love to be a little more up to date with that as well 😊

Ah, yes, I know that! I was just wondering what happens next if you choose that option without having completed both endings. Because, I mean, Amy fails in getting any real info out of the tea (😂) and then what? Do you just get a game over? Are you presented with the choice of who to investigate again (perhaps with only the remaining two options to choose from)? Or is there something like a text: "You can't proceed futher"? 😂 I'm also curious whether it has any sort of narrative justification! Like does Amy decide investigating the guests is hopeless and decide to investigate something else (and then the player is moved to the choice of who to investigate again) or does she just give up/fail (and then the player gets a game over)? I mean, I'm a completionist, I'm interested in almost every little detail 😂 I even tried to search for the file(s) with the code of the game 🤣 On my own computer of course (didn't try that hard tough) 😅
Oooh, thank you so much! 😍 My curiosity has been satisfied and now nothing's stopping me from playing the final route! 😂 Also, the second to last line of dialogue is so funny, just like the rest of the game! 😂 Humour is definitely your forte! 😆 Thank you so much for making this game and sharing it with us ❤️

Edit: Wait, sorry for bugging you again, but what does she decide to do next since clearly the final route is not an option but the choice of who to investigate first has already been made as well? 🤔
I'm missing one CG, does anyone know what it is/how to get it? It almost feels like it doesn't exist, since I got all of the other ones from trying all of the options and clearing all 7 endings 🤔 I shouldn't need a guide for this game- 😂 I think the CGs I managed to unlock are: the one from the YouTube ending, the one from the true ending and the one showing our lunch before and after it got stolen 😂
Edit: punctuation; also, this game is hilarious! 😂
I ended up clearing both of the romantic routes first and now I regret it, because I want to know what happens if you choose that certain option at the beginning of your investigation WITHOUT having cleared both of the romantic routes first 😭 The completionist inside of me is crying and I even tried to uninstall and install the game again, but my progress remained (and I guess I should be happy about that, but deleting it was actually my goal- 😂). If anyone chose that option without having completed the two romantic routes first or simply roughly knows what happens if you do that, please tell me so I'm able to sleep peacefully at night 😂

I mean, does she drink the tea and nothing happens? Is she even offered the tea in the first place? And then does she just give up on investing the guests and we're faced with the remaining two options (investigate the backstage or the seats of the attacked family)? I have to know! 😣😂
No problem, here it is! It's a direct link to the latest update:

I'm looking forward to your game! Just wanted to ask: the game is not releasing in 2022, right? Because the page says it should release "this year" (which I'm not sure what year it's actually referring to). Do you perhaps have a new estimate or something like that or would you rather not make it yet? Good work guys! ❤️
I really love this game! 😍 I played through all 3 chapters of the demo version on Android. It's super convenient, since most games I can only play on the computer. This time I could lay comfortably in bed and just enjoy. 😊 I really like the setting, the idea, the plot and the characters. I'm a big fan of games with a medieval-like setting, or just a historical setting in general. The thing that I love the most in this game is probably that our character (Addie) is so funny and unique in her way of being 😂 I actually really can't decide which route I would play first, because I like something about each one of the guys! I think I will only be able to decide once the full game is out. Which I can't wait for! Good job and thank you for making such an amazing game for us! ❤️
