Thanks 👍.

Of course. AmigaOS users have been supporting developers since Aminet first launched in the early 1990s.

LhA on Aminet?

Please don't use the bloated adf format. LhA is the de facto standard file archive for AmigaOS. Also, why do you refuse to upload the demo to Aminet so every Amiga user can easily download it and enjoy it? 😑

Thanks! 👍

Ok, so you won't release it on Aminet. That's sad. And why do you refuse to release it in a standard LhA archive?

Why do you refuse to release it on Aminet, the standard file archive for every Amiga user? And why do you refuse to use the standard LhA archive format that the Amiga uses for small, tight file sizes?

Why is this not available on Aminet so everyone can download it and enjoy it? 😐

Please upload this to Aminet so that every Amiga user can enjoy it (unfortunately, itch.io refuses to work using a lot of Amiga web browsers). Thanks!

Very nice! Please consider uploading the LhA-archive to Aminet, so all Amiga users can enjoy it. Thanks!

Awesome! Best of luck with future builds, and please don't forget to embed the standard AmigaOS $VER:-string in the binary! <3

Please upload this to Aminet in the standard AmigaOS LhA-archive format. Thanks.

Will you please consider uploading this to Aminet in proper LhA format so that everyone can download and enjoy it? Thanks.

Ah, now I get it! 🙂 What I meant is if you build a demo version, please upload it that release to Aminet. Thanks!

Nice, but what does that have to do with uploading it to Aminet? 🤔

Thanks. Please also upload it to Aminet.

Thanks! I'd appreciate it if you can please also upload the archive to Aminet. Thank you!

.zip? Please consider providing a standard AmigaOS LhA archive?

Thanks!

Please provide an Amiga version in an LhA - the standard archiving format for AmigaOS. Also, please consider uploading Ooze to Aminet. Thank you for listening.

Why? What's wrong with Aminet? What's wrong with LhA?

Would you please consider providing a standard LhA-archive on Aminet for easy access, too?

Thanks, this helps a lot. Will definitely look into this when the Amiga 1222 launches later this year.

This seems really interesting! Questions:

  1. Is AmiBlitz itself free?
  2. Are there API:s available for TCP/IP networking?
  3. What about AHI for audio?

Perhaps it's worthwhile looking for an FPU then and gracefully quit if one is not present, not allowing the binary to crash the entire system?

This is an outstanding piece of work that really deserves Amiga owners respect! That being said, I have a few feature requests I think it would be cool to have:

  • RTG graphics would make T2 run on all sorts of crazy graphics modes in ultra sharp resolutions! 😮
  • Free Turrican from its isolation! By implementing support for bsdsocket.library and global high score lists, the foundation of a would be laid out. All Time High scores? Check! A Daily Challenge high board that resets every 24 hours? Check! 👍
  • Bonus geek points for an API - having the game set up an ARexx port to allow developers to access T2 would be immensely cool. Using the powers of AmigaOS, you'd be able to read and write T2 variables and potentially control and enhance the game using ARexx scripting - first of a kind? ❤️

Last but not least, please release it on Aminet in a standard LhA-archive, too. Please keep up the really promising work!

Thanks, I appreciate that. Also, that archive will automatically pop up in the Aminet RSS feeds giving the game some additional advertisement 👍.

Nice, but why isn't this available on Aminet in a convenient LhA-archive..?

Thanks! Just ask the developer politely and hope for the best.

I thought I explained that pretty well? Please read the second paragraph of my post.

This is so, so awesome and Indy-like! Love the theme - really Montezuma's Revenge-esque! Question: Would it be totally out of place to please ask you to consider a native Commodore 128 port of Jungle Joe? It doesn't have to feature any extra bells or whistles at all - in fact, I'd go wild just being able to type "RUN" from the BASIC 7.0 prompt to start Jungle Joe.

Why? Well, the Commodore 128's games collection is so small any addition to it would be a huge boon, and a clear sign of good-will to the Commodore 128 community. I'd be most grateful if you would consider it, not closing any doors. Having an Aztec like platformer running natively on the C128 would be a feat and an acomplishment all of its own! Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best!

Awesome, and thanks for even thinking of it! ❤️ Even if the game will be identical to the C64 version, a native C128 release would still mean a ton. It would recognize and acknowledge the C128, both as an 8-bit platform of its own as well as its community. In fact, I'll go as far as saying a native version of New Rally-X64 would be a milestone for C128 action games 👍.

Again, thank you for listening and best of luck if you decide to build a C128 version - really crossing my fingers for it!

This is just _so_ cool - a brand new arcade port of Rally-X for the Commodore 64 in 2022! A question, if you don't mind! Would you please consider a native build for the Commodore 128, too? It doesn't have to have any extra features at all. In fact, just being able to start New Rally-X from the Commodore 128's BASIC prompt would be a feat all in itself, and it would mean a ton to the C128 community seeing that the current games' library is so small. Having an arcade port run natively on the C128 would be such a huge boon for the platform! I'm certainly not asking for any promises, but I think it would be really neat if you could at least consider a C128 port. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your quick reply, and for even considering a C128 port. Really hoping for the best!

Wow! I _so_ dig the style of the graphics - really unique, and when I first saw the screenshots I wasn't sure they were from a C64! You've really used the palette asking with dithering well!

Question: Is it totally out of the question to please consider a native build of Dicing With Death for the Commodore 128? It doesn't have to have any extra features; just being able to load and run it from the C128's native mode would be really neat! Seeing how small the C128's games library is, it would really mean a ton to the C128 community and, on top of that, a great deal of goodwill. Crossing my fingers for a positive response! :)

Thanks not only for your reply and for even considering a port, but also for doing it (in a super speedy manner, on top of that!). From what I understand, it wasn't too much of a hassle adjusting your and I hope you got a kick out of it! 🙂

On behalf of the Commodore 128 community, thank you again! 👍

Amazing, I so dig the novel idea and the murky graphics! Question: would it be totally out of the question to natively build Old Mine Hoist for the humble C128, too? It doesn't have to have any extra features at all - just a native Commodore 128 build would mean _so_ much for the C128 community, given how tiny our library of games is. It would be a huge boon and a great deal of good-will!

Why isn't it compressed with LhA? And how come it isn't even mentioned on Aminet?

Will this be available as a print mag in the EU? 🇪🇺
