Yeah! I'm pretty sure it's the first full weekend of every month that the jam happens

Judging by the previous jams, probably about midway, perhaps leaning towards simplistic though

Can you add a "Overall" criteria which is what the game is ranked on? I feel like it would be easiest for people like me who aren't on discord but want to see the results still.

Kinda forgot about this jam until now and I'm not gonna make much in this time. I may make something with the theme and wild card in my own time if I feel like it.

Tysm for the feedback! I will admit I did go a bit crazy with some of the later bosses lol. I will try to improve on that in the full game. I have already started working on adding warnings to the bosses and they definitely help! Glad to hear you're looking forward to the full game as much as I am :)

Thx for the feedback! This is definitely my best in terms of polish. I hindsight yeah some more feedback could've helped but 2 things on that note.

1 - The blue clones have a larger explosion when they die

2 - The thing with the diamonds on the screen happens when an enemy dies.

Still tho, could've made it a bit more impactful lol.

In mine, I have it so that when a player dies, the room is illuminated temporarily so you can see for a second before you go back to limited vision.

How loosely are you taking the term "Card Game?" (Not what I'm gonna make but feel free to be inspired) Could you make something like a dungeon crawler where you have cards that move you around instead of normal WASD or arrow key controls?

Tysm! Usually I tend to lean towards more casual games rather than ABSOLUTE CHAOS  so I still haven't quite mastered the visuals of things like this. I'll definitely keep what you say in mind for when I next make something like this.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I did have a sound for when the player got hit but my PC crashed and I kinda forgot to put it back in so RIP.

As for animations, I might implement them in an update after the voting time is over because ngl you have a good point.
