It's very sad, personally I feel that this is the right moment to introduce a trans character and (I don't know how badly was received Jasmin) this could be a second chance to try doing better with a different character. Also, she could always be an optional romance route, and no one should be obligated to follow that path if makes them uncomfortable.
I'm not sure if you’re in touch with the developer, but it would be very kind of you to ask her directly about the possibility of introducing a trans character into ORS. This isn’t a demand, nor am I trying to pressure you into anything, but I’d really appreciate it if you could do this for me.
