I've placed quite a lot of my next plans on my last devlog so expect for an update for the next month or 2. As I've mentioned previous times, I cannot guarantee updates since anything could happen that might delay me. Eitherway, I hope to get Days 3&4 out by the end of this year.

I use USD as the set currency, anything that is not in USD will be converted to USD depending on your mode of payment. For example, Paypal will convert it to USD if you use it, make sure you're aware how much you're spending with your currency to convert to USD.

Hello! The nsfw is a one time pay so you don't have to pay for any future updates! Just make sure to pay straight to $5 since it doesn't stack strangely enough.

Once you buy it, it can be seen in your library.

Have you unzipped the file and located the .exe file? That should let you play the game. If not, it may be that your PC is 32 bit and not 64 bit (the game's build is for 64 bit due to renpy's current build and its necessary for the game to load properly without much issues) or your PC is preventing it from running. 

Did you download the correct zip file? Did you extract it? You can extract it using either 7zip or Winrar (both free applications for extracting files)

Hello! The game is not available in mobile devices (iPhone and Android). Please do read the game's front page.

Are you using card? Often times it has to do with itch's payment process (I have no control over this). I suggest through either Paypal or Stripe as a payment method. 

The nsfw zip file is different and a separate build so yes. 

Do not merge the sfw and nsfw contents in one folder or your game might not work.  

I'm still thinking about it and will see to it if I could upload this game on Steam, if ever that happens, I'll be sure to make an announcement for it.

You have to download the new zip file whenever there's an update, your progress will be saved. 

1.) The Update will go along wigh Day 3&4's release, as for the releass date, I don't have one in mind yet and Day 3 is still not done yet, I'd like for everything to be 300% ready before announcing a date (I will post it here, in my patreon, tumblr and twitter/X)

2.) While starting this project, I had little coding knowledge and my current code for pronouns is kind of wonky and it hinders the way I wrtie. I changed it and used Fenik's In Depth Pronouns to have an easier time in coding down the story.

3.) Yes there will be NSFW scenes involving the MC, just taking it slow for now (Though I always make sure to have 1-2 NSFW scenes per day complete with a CGs to go with it.) 

4.) Yes the scales will be visible as I've stated above, there's going to be a button on the upper right corner of the screen, you'll see it once you start the game on Day 1.

All of these new changes that I've stated in this log is going to be implemented once Day 3 and 4 is out (I will be releasing Day 3&4 at the same time)

As for the changes I stated in the devlog, (Romance Point Counter and the Gender terms) they aren't implemented on this version yet and I plan on implementing it along Day 3 & 4's release which is v3.0

I don't have plans to ever show a 'canon' face of the MC. I'd like to not put a face on my MCs so that players can have freedom what their MCs would look like. 

Hello!!! I just checked my files! I thought your issue was that you cannot open the game (ex. the .exe file not working or the game keeps crashing.) Apparently I forgot to change the in game version from 2.0 to 2.2 in the code. Rest assured the game in the game files right now on the itch page is 2.2! 

I'll upload the one with the changed version in a bit! I deeply apologize for this misunderstanding! 😭 But just in case if ever your game DOES not open and crash, I do recommend to wipe the files.

Hello! Have you done this solution? I have yet to find a way to update persistent in every update but for now restarting from scratch is the best solution.
NOTE: Do NOT merge the new files with the old files, this causes the game to not work too.

KNOWN ERRORS AS OF THE CURRENT BUILD:

>>> The coding for the names and pronouns is really wonky and can make the game not run properly, and my only solution as of now is:
1.) Via Win+R type in %appdata%
2.) Go to the RenPy folder
3.) Delete 'The Kid at the Back' folder

This will reset the game.

If via card does not work for you, you can try using Paypal or Stripe as your mode of payment, it will do the conversion for you (make sure you know how much money you're spending for conversion!). You do not need to make a Paypal or Stripe account to pay, you just need your card information and you're done.

Often times these are because of cards not applicable to itch (and I have no other idea any other method in paying since Stripe and Paypal are two of itch.io's mode of payments other than card).

I think it has to do something with your bank or Paypal account/mode of payment that may be causing conflict. Maybe sending contact from itch support would help. 

As stated on the game's page, there will be 7 days in total with 5 endings. 

Paid content features NSFW content that is not shown in the free game. For now, there's 2 nsfw scenes with special CGs included. This will increase per day as I update the game.

The NSFW content is just there for NSFW's sake (while keeping minors away) and does not hinder the plot.

I'm quite busy at this very moment but I'll keep myself updated on this! But it will take me some time to get back.

Did you merge the old files and the new files? If so, discard the old version and play with the new ver and opening the correct application/.exe file.

As for "linking" the purchase to your account, I think as long as you used the same email to make the account and buying it, it'll be added to your library.

If you manage to pay $5 above, you have access to the project's files behind the paywall even if they got updated.

Basically you're paying for the project and not the file.

Please have age in bio or indicate that you're an adult, it is stated in my rules in my bio that ageless bios will be blocked. This is just a precaution regardless if you're 18+ 

NSFW will include explicit scenes along with uncensored gore.  As for how many scenes, there is 1 per day besides 7 for 7 will have more than 1 (since it's the finale and all.) 

I don't obligate/require people to buy the nsfw. It's just there for spicy scenes sake and to not make it accessible to minors. So it depends on you if you think it's worth it.
