The tone is so heavy and gripping, a little dread and oppressiveness, and a lot of slow intrigue in a good, good way. 👁👁 This game is perfectly harmonizing the score, the art, and the writing... I'm never gonna be normal about this story; just when you think Kolt and Xavier have enough problems on the surface, more keep creeping out from beneath the dust. Before they can even start to figure out how to take their first baby steps into a wholly inadvisable tentative alliance, the yawning expanse of horrors lurking in their shockingly-intertwined history threaten to swallow them whole constantly. And that's before factoring in the robot boys.

100/10, good slow and steady pacing, darkly gripping and unsettling, yet sweet and scorching hot in equal measure. NOT wholesome in the slightest, just human. Highly recommend subscribing on SubStar to read Season Two!!!

I mean this with every positively-charged bone in my body: this story is so full of Classic Yaoi Flavor that it feels like the book you would have secretly read at age 12 that changed the trajectory of your taste in fiction and romance forever, and would cause you to become a lifelong disciple of m/m erotica. 

I would say it's got some of my favorite guilty pleasure tropes, but I feel no actual guilt about these pleasures, only warm nostalgia and hot boners.
