yep, thanks for reporting; it's an intermittent bug that made it into the official jam release :(
Reloading fixes it, but it does leave a bad aftertaste.

Wow, thanks :)

It was a fun diversion and felt very metroidvanish. It's hard to judge the assets, as they are external (which is OK, especially since there are 4 engineers writing a game :).

The only gripe I have is that when I arrived in the boss room, the door closed behind me and the room was closed. I then realized that there was a big guy running around in spikes in the room before - probably the boss escaped its enclosure and soft-locked me in that room.

No, Firefox on a Mac. I think some other Godot games were also impacted.

didn't load for me :(

It didn't load for me, I tried a couple of times :(

Shame, because the graphics look nice :)

Very nice, especially for the first jam. I was impressed and drawn in by the graphics, the sound effects and animations were spot on. The controls were OK, shooting took some time to get used to.

I didn't manage to go very far - the transitions between the rooms disoriented me, I couldn't find my way out of the first few rooms. Decided to jump into space obstructed by some bushes, just to see if I'd find a secret exit there - then I appeared in the middle of some room with spikes to the right (and a trampoline mooshroom in the middle). I could not make it neither by the closed door on the right or the wall o the left.

I would definitely spend more time on a version with bigger areas, or at least with a less eager camera, it's a great material for SMVM.

Thanks for the kind words! In appreciate the suggestions - we'll use them for a post-jam version :)

Thanks :)

A very astute reader might notice that while graphics is done by J Hopkins, I am credited with "additional GFX." Well, the meatballs are the "additional GFX." Sorry.

Nice! Good to know that there is an ending to look forward to :)

Wow! This was actually surprisingly fun! Love how the music enhances the gameplay
