Oh, ok, even though, I feel like I'm gonna get away from internet for a while, since I don't want to get spoiled about anything from Khemia, and I won't be able to play it soon. That wasn't a big spoiler, but I guess I prefer to protect myself from any spoiler. And about that, I think on a way, it kinda makes sense, but also, even if not nations, even in Adastra there were different cities that were run by different people, even though in the end, they all were under the emperor, there was a need for fragmentation to rule it better, and I guess that's something that is bound to happen with a nation that is too big to handle it, and it can lead to chaos quite easily. It can be weird, but I feel it makes sense from a practical perspective, but maybe I'm a little bit blinded by my vision of the present, after all, it is said that the future shapes the way we think about how the future will be, I mean, in the past, they thought that the future was a writing machine that typed a 10% faster.

I'm not quite sure as if the parents should be trusted all that much, I mean, we've seen how they are, and I feel like they are not without some dark motives, but this is just a theory I have, so, I kinda feel like, I wouldn't trust the parents, but rather the siblings. After all, I think of the parents much like a ruthless god-like creature, while the siblings are more human-like, in the sense of their ethics, like, yeah, there are some that do bad things, but their reasons can be understood and they can be persuaded, but the parents, they are an entity that feels like they don't care about individual lives, as they would see them as sacrifices worth making for the good of all, which is something that makes me be wary of them, because sometimes, for the collective good, it could happen that what gets sacrificed is the well-being of all the individuals that are part of that collective, turning into a tirany. I mean, they were able to torture a human being and make his loved one see how they did only because it was the easier way to convince Amicus.

And about the thing about uniting under one flag, it kinda makes sense being inside of the Galaxias, but I think in Adastra there was some separation between the places, like, therewere different cities that were ruled by different groups, so, I'm not exactly sure their way of ruling, like, yeah, we know there is an emperor, but not the exact way their politics work in all their aspects, since also, we know how they acted in an exceptional moment where they had no emperor, so I don't know how it would go or if they would change the way the planet works, since it could be similar to the UE thing, like, there are different countries with their own leaders and democratic regimes. Also, if in the end, there had to be a union of the entire world, I think the Earthlings sounds cool to me to call the citizens.

Also, I wonder how things work inside the Galaxias, like, we know the parents, sibling, children thing, but apart from the basics, not much. Like, they have a democratic system? Is it more like a hierarchy thing? How do they decide the way they are going to act as a group? This type of things sound so interesting. I hope we get to see it in Khemia

Also, I don't think we would start as siblings, I mean, even if it was just to avoid that, there would be like an agreement with at least one of the planets to act like the Earth was still being raised to keep that from happening. I mean, I can imagine that raising a civilization sounds like good reputation inside the Galaxias, so the planet would comply and try to keep the facade. Also, I'm sure the Adastrians would like that to get their fame of being children-enslavers away, they would accept, or maybe the Khemians, since they seemed to be quite egalitarians (or at least I hope so, because the part where Neferu was drunk, and started acting like he looked down on the main character felt weird to me, I don't know how much was because of the wine and how much was actually true, since maybe there's some facade of egalitarism, while they have some god complex, which wouldn't surprise me since they are based on the ancient Egypt civilization, and pharaohs were thought to be chosen by the gods themselves).

Khemia is confirmed, at the end of July for the patrons, starting August for the rest.

That definitely can't be right.

Well, I can't really say that's not a posibility. We are really a proudful species, sometimes to the point where we become arrogant. At first, I thought about the parental devices as being impossible to reproduce, after all, their abilities are simply too good to believe, but now that I think about it, there was a point in the story where they said that Khemians were close to replicate the travel methods that the parents entrusted the siblings, so I guess it's not actually that far-fetched. Also, I think there are two ways that could go that, I mean, humans could be so sick of people in charge that they might give adastrians and other siblings the chance and help them overthrow the rulers, or would be against a new ruler even though this one might come with benefits in the long run. Also, now that you say it, that might be why the Earth was once contacted but we lost contact. Also, I wonder if we would have the materials to replicate the parental devices, after all, we've been using the resources on earth for millenia and we haven't come across with things that could harness that power, so, maybe in planets like Khemia and Adastra they have materials we can't even dream of, which would make our try to replicate the parental devices fail, which would be the best way to ensure that bleak future you talk about not happen. I think that would be the only way to prevent humans from creating mass destruction weapons in case they would join the Galaxias. That or even the fact that parents could withdraw their help to us in case we went crazy with it, like it happened to Adastra at the start of the story, where they were left alone from the rest of the civilizations due to their actions, so, I think they might have some ways to stop us humans if we went on that route, like isolating our planet once again. But being honest, looking to the world how it is right now, I think we need the Galaxias desperately, if only because of that, we need to behave if the chance comes knocking at our door.

Terrible idea? How so? I mean, I know that humans aren't exactly without flaws, but it's actually in their best interest to behave and try to learn from adastrians and the rest of siblings, since their technology is far more advanced than ours, which would further the Earth's knowledge vastly. Even from a selfish point of view, it's good for humans, so I think they would behave, if only because it's in their best interest. And, well, there would be some resistance, people like Cato exist, but I doubt that they would get much attention after seeing all the things humans could learn, I mean, only the pills that extend the lifespan would be enough to justify a friendship between the humans and the rest of the siblings, even to the most selfish and proud of humans.

I think they already do in the original ending.  Like, the only reason they comply with it it's because they are blackmailed by them, I mean, whne they talk about it they talk like if they were being forced to or they wouldn't be together. Also, and this is more of a theory than anything, but I have the feeling that the ones that we talk to are not the parents, at least not in the dreams, because there was a moment where you talk with Amicus and he says that they had never talked to them except for the parental device, and when you get sleep at the school, you have a similar dream like when you talked with the shadowy dragon that presented himself like the monitor, but this time, like distorted and creepy (at least the music, that gave me a chill in the spine). So I started to think about it and in fact, it could be explained like the other playing everyone in order to sustain himself by feeding from the negative feelings from everyone. After all, it felt weird that when you accept to play by their rules, they revive you, but if not, you just die, but it would make sense if you were someone who had been playing against them all the time guided by the other, and then they gave you the chance to redeem yourself.

Some say that there's other where you talk with meera, but I wasn't able to get that one, so, I don't know what you need to get there or what you talk about, so I take that with a grain of salt

Great, I chose that before there was an ending. DOn't know how to feel about that. Even though, why would they revive you if you are against them. I don't feel like they would do that.

No se sabe. Se hablaba de la posibilidad de un Adastra 2, pero no sabemos donde quedaría, si sería una continuación de la historia de Marco y Amicus o sería otra historia distinta dentro del mismo universo.

Well, I don't know if it was only because of that, since I think it was a mix of all my answers, but when I didn't decide to help them, what happened was that I was left to die. Instead of getting the moment where Amicus saves me, my conciousness just slowly faded away as the parents told me that they would try again in other generation, with other human. Even though, my answers were "Oblivion", "Talk with Neferu", "I'm not sure" (since Amicus at that moment looked like he had good intentions, but seemed like he was not ready to rule a kingdom) and "No, i will not submit", so maybe I just chose all the wrong answers

There's a 17th build? I'm not sure if I'm happy because the story isn't over yet, or sad because when I end build 16 I'm gonna have to wait another month to get to see the ending, and I'm already having trouble waiting for the 16th build, even though I ended the story til the to be continued point just a few says ago.

(1 edit)

I also got there, but didn't realize about any of those. What were those errors? Now I'm quite curious about it

Well, today they tweeted about the new build which patrons can already experience. The build was called "Farewell", so, that sounds like a last chapter, but who knows, maybe they do an extra build to tie all the things up and see their reunion, or maybe they even do a sequel, since the universe here is quite an interesting one and would be nice to see more of it, but that's more my hopes for it, since I love this guys and want to see them again. And also, I feel like I'm gonna feel horrible at the farewell, like, I'm gonna miss them all, Amicus, Neferu, Virginia, heck, even Alex and Cassius.

Ok, I think I realized after back tracking that somehow I got the bad ending because of my distrust for the parents. Even though, after I continued with the story, I think i stumbled upon a glitch of some kind

There are two Amicus! And don't get me wrong, I love Amicus, but this is just too much. Also, this continues during all the scene. I hope there's some way of fixing it easily. Also, damn it Neferu! You chose the worst day for that.

Edit: I forgot to say that this happened to me on the windows version, so I'm not sure if it will happen in other ones, like android, linux or mac

Is the ending at this version really the ending of the story? Or just a cliffhanger? Because I don't know if maybe the choices I made caused me to get a bad ending. Does someone know about it? I would be grateful to know.
