Thank you so much for your kind words, Dai, super glad you liked it!
Well, I wanted the transition to have some kind of fading time so that it doesn't immediately change day/night. I could still add it later, I suppose.
I'm also glad you liked the cute potatoes xDD I guess more potatoes next version.
Thanks again for taking the time to play and I really appreciate your support (and confidence xd)
Let me just say that I'm ABSOLUTELY FLABBERGASTED by your comment .__. and LIMITLESS THANKS TO YOU for the effort that went into this. I am astonished by the accuracy of everything you said and I am thoroughly impressed.
Thanks a lot for the compliments on the art. I'm very glad you liked it, I absolutely love it when people notice the little things that are normally not noticeable (that I pour unnecessary amounts of effort into xD), and YES IT IS VERY VERY INSPIRED FROM THE KINGDOM SERIES I LOVE THAT GAME.
The previous game jam I joined was a 7-day jam, which may or may not be the reason my brain was comfortably adding more and more features and tasks, which clearly didn't work out in its favor xD. On the last jam day, I realized that everything crumbled especially that I was busy with work that day, so I didn't even have the time to fix the broke things. I guess it will be a good future lesson for me.
For chapter 2, pretty much everything you said is 100% right, valid, and appreciated.
Some points are indeed stuff that was on the list to finish or polish but was ditched at the end That's why they will seem broken or incomplete, like the farming system, UI, merchant, day-night, items and even the gun (I have a bad habit of finishing the visuals first)
About the localization, it's very simple. I made a small localization system at the start of the jam (basically 2 scripts, manager and text localizer) I give each text localizer both lines Arabic and English and the manager switches between them with the help of one of the opensource TMP right to left plugins, I would absolutely not mind giving it to you at all you'll be surprised at how simple it is xD.
Last thing, you know, I was actually pretty bummed about not finishing the game and I didn't want to continue working on it any more, partly because I never actually went over-scope in a game jam before or even released a broken/unfinished one, I'm usually extra careful with planning, so it got me super disappointed, but honestly, I cannot thank you enough for your enthusiasm and supportive words, I just don't know what to say, I now kind of have to go work on it, I don't see any other options xD
Thank you so much for your wonderful text wall and for taking the time to play, analyze, articulate, and write your feedback, or even consider it a favorite ♥♥♥. This got me overjoyed and gave me a reason to continue on it.
God bless you and I wish you the best, this jam and on your future projects Insha'Allah.
Thank you so so much for your overwhelming comments, I really appreciate it, as well as the time you took to articulate your feedback ❤❤
I apologise for the game's uncleanness, it's primarily because I set the scope too high and couldn't keep up with it 😅. I'll definitely consider the difficulty and UI while working on it to get it to a more finished or stable state.
Thank you again for your words, you have my full respect!
Thanks a lot for the nice comment, I'm glad you liked it!
Awesome feedback as well, it definitely needs some challenge included, I'll try to think of something when the jam ends to to add some good reason for the player to progress, maybe like a timer for actions or some avoidable dangers that the plane can go through or something. Good thing I put a lot of effort into the game base systems, like the interpreter, so it would be easy to scale up later.
Thanks again for the comment, always appreciate a good feedback!
