For well over 2 years, I've been building this 2D battle robot sim. The idea is to give the player many different verbs (shoot, put something on fire, make smoke, deploy landmine or turret, hack enemy, hide behind terrain, etc.) in a tactical simulation.


I just uploaded my first public build on itch.io today: https://filiph.itch.io/giant-robot-game.

This is in in early playtest stage, so don't expect much. But the main systems and mechanics are there, and I'd love your feedback. The playtest is completely free, no strings attached, nothing.





I realize how niche this is but it's one of those things where I'm building what I'd like to play myself.
