Thank you for clarifying. I do like grain, it holds that film quality part of a transfer. Is there a particular "Upscaler" you would recommend? I know of NeatVideo.

Very interesting. The flag movement is surly testing the software capabilities...

Why would you first use an upscaler? The file is 1920 by 1080; be it, highly compressed.

How would I go about exporting to an AVI file; 8-bit and/or 10-bit with specifying a codec?

I see all .png files produced during stip 1 in folder "1>original_frames" are 8-bit. I assume these would need to be 10-bit.

I got it to work once launching the .exe file from within the command prompt window

cd Desktop\DAIN_APP Alpha 1.0

Open command prompt window and drag DAINAPP.exe into it.
