You could try to make it work on wineskin! i did it with omori and it worked fine!!
It just need a bit tinkering with the "winetricks", but i dont think its very hard, plus you could then have an easy to update and portable, mac compatible version.
Its basically a game folder copied inside a very lightweight (about 1.3 gigs plus the game) windows copy including only necessary system files plus some additions that the game might need in order to run like vs / c++/ .net etc., so it can be updated by simply switching the windows game folder inside.
I play it on mac using bootcamp, you could try parallels too. If i remember correctly I got it for free here: https://www.highapproach.com/parallels-for-free/. You might be able to play it using Wineskin Winery, which should be lighter on storage but I didnt make it work yet. The "winetricks" need to be added correctly and i dont know which ones the games requires, maybe author could help out with that..? that would allow to create a portable emulated version and work the widows version on mac. I did that with omori and it works fine.

I just downloaded it again and it was the first link on the list called Parallels Desktop Business v18.2.0 Build 53488 for macOS + CRACK.rar. It didnt require any writing in the terminal too (except for typing the password), so it was quite easy :)
other links from the list might work too, this one doesn't seem to include with "parallels tools", but it's not necessary for the game to work., so I wouldn't worry about that.
If you're tight on space I would recommend running it with TINY 11 or TINY 10 instead of regualr windows. it works basically the same except its really lightweight and bloatware free which is nice. I've been using it for half a year on my pc and it was great. If youre worried about a safe place to download it, its safe one the internet archive site :) I could help you with it if you need it.
