A lot of potential! Already a solid cast of hot characters and an interesting story.

3 Observations/Suggestions:

I think the biggest improvements can be made to the UI. It would be nice to highlight the dialogue more. A lot of times I'm distracted by the background as the textbox is quite transparent and end up missing some of the story. And having an option to hide the textbox for the sex scenes would be amazing.

Also, the mist in the forest is there to make things more atmospheric but it sacrifices a lot of visual clarity, I had a hard time finding my way around and I'm not an RPG greenhorn. Might be beneficial to have an optional tone down.

Battle gameplay wise, unless there's something to hold the player's attention like cool skills animations or strategic planning (attributes/stat points/skill trees, etc), I do feel like it is a waste of time. I think it is fine as is, and I don't think it is fair to expect a innovative and fleshed out battle system for what is essentially a demo for a niche NSFW gay visual novel as I can imagine it would sink a lot of Dev time, so it would be a huge QoL if we can fast-forward or outright skip battles. I think battles are important to make realistic the protagonist's progression, but not at the expense of the player mindlessly clicking basic attack 500 times. Some NSFW RPGs like Lust Odyssey try to placate by having each battle encounter reward the player in a potential NSFW scenario, but they still get complaints on the grind. There doesn't seem to be a good textbook way to implement this.

2 Suggestions (me being nit-picky):

For accessibility, would appreciate if both WASD/Arrow Keys could be used for movement, both Enter/Space could be used for interact/next, and ESC could bring up menu controls at any time (ESC was locked out during certain dialogues, forcing me to lose progress as I couldn't save where I wanted to).

If a quick tap of the movement control could let the character change orientation, without moving. That way, you can "interact" with the environment, sit on benches, lie on beds, etc.

You are right that there is a severe lack of male ASFR games, (and a general lack of non-furry gay NSFW games in the Barasphere). So thank you immensely for creating this. Awesome job! Based on the steamy NSFW scenes afforded by the demo, I'd be more than happy to monetarily support the development of this game. Looking forward to your updates (especially scenes with the detective!)...

I had the same issue. Click into the the game folder itself (Alternative State Demo) and then run Game.exe, it should work.

Exciting update, totally agree about reusable code--anything to make the not so fun parts more palatable in the future :P

And although I am not clinically depressed, I can definitely relate with not having energy for my passion projects when the everyday stresses of life just gets to you; I can't imagine how hard it is for you. Lots of your fans are cheering you on and are excited for what you in store so take your time and show us when you are comfortable and ready! :)

I do hope you are joking, as your name implies. In your previous comment, you alluded to your daily check of update as a "job." That is some serious obsession, so it is great that you've stopped that.

No one is entitled to the gamedev's time for new fap material. He has an actual full-time "job" that he must labor through to provide for himself and his family. He makes no revenue from this—he is very generous to share this quality passion project for free (although I'm sure many, like myself, would be happy to be patrons). And contrary to your claim, he does give updates: two comments below yours, he shared that he is hoping to push the extended demo out in the next two months.

Yes, everyone has problems in life, but you obviously do not respect that. And that is besides the fact that not everyone has a clinically diagnosed condition where the symptoms literally impact your ability to work or even derive joy from life. If you had even an ounce of empathy, you would've realized how disheartening this would be for romatisoft to read. Rather than building him up, you are tearing him down when he has communicated he is at his most vulnerable. Good riddance.

Okay, thanks for the update!

Confirmed that the gamer tag issue is fixed with the latest version!

I have a question, is the bug with the Professor dying instantly also fixed with the new update? Is there more story after his death?

Was able to get the scene after some experimentation. You basically need a near maxed out affection with Thomas. Follow this:

Day 1

- "Got it."

- "OK."

- "Well, I guess."

- "What do you usually do?"

- "Good Idea!"

Day 2

- "There is still time."

- IMPORTANT: Do not accept Charlie's invitation to dinner. This will close off Thomas' route forever.

-  "Ok. Let's go!"

- "Well, it's hard to say, honestly.

- "You bet, man."

- "Yeah, why not?"

- "You have a big chest."

- "Yeah, well let me just feel it."

- "Way to go man. Let's get it started!"

Day 3

- "There is still time."

- Go to Thomas' room.

- "Good idea!"

Day 4

- "There is still time."

- "Ok. Let's go!"

- Go to Thomas' room.

- "She had a fairly successful debut. Now she is a diva!"

Day 5

- "There is still time."

-  Go to the gym.

-  "We'll get a room later."

-  "Just keep going."

Day 6

- "Yeah, sounds interesting."

- Go to Thomas' room.

- "Knock on the door."

- "Man, you're cute!"

- "Dude, this is dope!"

Day 7

- Go to gym. Work out. Go back to dorm.

- "What the hell?"

- CG unlocks.

I believe the missing one on the third row is spanking Thomas, but I'm not sure how to get it. It should happen pretty early on considering the next CG is touching.

Can't seem to get these two no matter what I do. Has anyone been able to finish their routes? Would appreciate some help!
