Hi,
You have given me a lot of input for the topics I'm writing about, in my presentation of the project, thank you!

It's really nice that you comment your thoughts during the gameplay and your final thoughts was just awesome for me.
Thanks again and hopefully I can give you a greater experience in future projects :)

If you would like to see how my puzzle design has evolved since this project, you can try out my escape room https://fjellvind.itch.io/the-mansion
There are ofcourse some flaws there as well, but I would love to get your feedback.

ABOUT
The Mansion is one of my portfolio pieces that I've made at The Game Assembly.
The goal was to create an experience that would feel like a real escape room, while develop in visual scripting and puzzel/environmental design.

THE GAME
You find yourself in a mansion with one mission, find the code for the keypad in the next room. You'll have 30 minutes to solve puzzles, figure out clues, find secrets and escape.

FEEDBACK
To get your feedback is vital for my future design thoughts, so please leave a comment.

Good luck!

ABOUT
Final Link is one of my portfolio pieces that I've made at The Game Assembly.
The goal was to make a game that follows a Hero's journey template in a 3-act structure.

THE GAME
You stumble out of a portal and finds yourself in a village, inhabited by wizards. You quickly learn that the only way to get back to your own dimension, is to find a Power Crystal. You will find yourself doing quests for the wizards, exploring and solving puzzles in a dungeon and finally
try to beat the old record, on a race track.

FEEDBACK
To get your feedback is vital for my future design thoughts, so please leave a comment.

Let the quest for the Power Crystal begin!

I have, thanks again! :)

Ah, I see. I will try and fix these kind of texture poolsize kind of problems in future projects!
Thanks for the report!

Ah, yes, it sounds very frustrating and not at all how it is supposed to be. I will look into it and if you could post a picture of how the keypad looks to you, it would be appreciated!

Hi!
Thank you so much for your feedback :)

1. Yeah, I noticed that in a playthrough as well. I will add it to my To-Fix-list.

2. Just to be clear what you mean;
a)When pressing a number you don't get visual feedback on which number(s) you have pressed?
Or
b)The numbers on the keypad is not visible so you have to guess where each number is?

I will have it under consideration in my next project if it's the first option, otherwise it's a new bug that I will check out :)
Thanks again!

Hi,
Thank you so much! :)

I would love to see the video if you wouldn't mind.
It helps me spot design flaws so that I can create better expeirences for you guys the next time.

Cheers mate

Hi!
Thank you so much :)
It has been so much fun working on it!

I don't think I will participate with this game but I will surely have it in mind for my next projects!
I will check out your website and bookmark it, thanks!

Thank you! :)

And thanks for that sweet playthrough of yours!
I was able to spot a couple of bugs I wasn't aware of, and it was a delight following your steps to escape!

Regarding the knight who got it right, it is a accident (bad design) that the riddle leads the player to think it's Right.
Well, it's the correct answer, but the "real" clue is hidden in the room. But that's on me :)

I will have that in mind, along with all other things I've learned, when creating the next part of Fjellvinds Escape Rooms.
Perhaps it will be in the same mansion...
