!!!Okay, wall of text with spoilers!!!

Well, I went through the new story. And I didn't like it. More on that later, just a common plot error to start with. 

Like, the currency on the station isn't a common currency in the galaxy, so these worker credits are just local currency that isn't accepted anywhere else. Chips with it are given to inmates for working or participating in experiments, and they somehow insert them into their collar and replenish their account. (That's the way I remember it. But I'm not damn sure about that, since I've been playing for a long time.) And slave traders have other credits, galaxy-wide credits that are accepted outside the station. That is, not slave credits, but standard credits. How are standard credits exchanged for station work credits? Here's just a little mistake.

And here are the reasons why I didn't like the plot. As I wrote when I was monitoring the development on github, the endings are completely unfair. One that goes “Uh, you helped me deal with my past and sold my fucking daughter that I hate so much, great job, but I'm not taking the collar off you, fuck you!”, then the second one goes “Uh, you helped me kill my father and take the control of his slave-trading family for myself, and in general, I fucking love you, uh, but I'm still not gonna take the collar off you because I'm a stupid bitch! Fuck you!” And the third one, where the two are combined! Now that I've been through the story, I can tell that it's bullshit!

Regardless of the ending, the leader or just a member of a huge family of slave owners are fucking powerful guys. And none of these people “who are extremely grateful to us” were willing to even try to remove the collar! That's awful, if you ask me. The plot rationale is that they don't know how (Miri doesn't know and Luks doesn't give a fuck.), and anyway, the collar is explosive. Fucking awesome! I mean, it's illogical! While they can spend money on some ridiculous bullshit like dangerous genetic pyrokinesis, they don't want to spend some money on taking off a fucking iron! (Although, looking for logic in a porn game... Yeah, I'm a fuckwit.)

But seriously, I love this game. I really like it. For the customization, for the porn content, for the story at the end of the story. The beauty of this game is that it goes beyond a porn game for me. that's why the plot twists are even more frustrating. It's like if Rahi (the character) turns out to be an android at the end of her story and tries to kill you. Same kind of betrayal. And the fact that I actually like this game will make me berate it even more. It's like this.

Nah, it's easy. After the first two times, you can just click through.

Soul Scream. I like this game, so I'm going to be blunt and honest. The overstimulation system looks like bullshit right now. So the situation is: defeated a inmate; dragged him to the stocks; want to fuck him; I start. And during that, I get a question. How do I cum? What do I have to do to do it?! “Arousal" doesn't even get to 90%! (At least for me.) What the fuck? What am I supposed to do?

Don't think I haven't figured it out, I have!  Well, I tried. And it didn't work! I've tried stopping sex, I've tried stopping during sex, I've tried drugs, nothing works. I've even set my fetishes to the max, and still nothing works! Can someone please tell me what the point is?

Are you referring to some sort of game convention or something plot-driven? It's just that I seem to have looked at all the story additions on the github. I don't deny that maybe I missed something, but still... What do you mean?

I'm tracking the game's development on the github and I warn you: my comment is with spoilers, so be careful!

As far as I can tell, the story part is already finished, the author is now working on additional features and improving the game. This happened a few days ago, if memory serves me correctly. And all this time I couldn't get my head around one thing. Unfortunately, in a negative way. Once again, I warn you, there are spoilers.

I won't give you a lot of spoilers, but I'll explain the basics. There are two new characters from the AlphaCorp alternative, the Syndicate. And we start working for them. And we do so many things for them, just so many things. And they get a lot of benefits, profits and a lot of good things from us. But in the endings, regardless of the side we chose or whatever, neither of these two people we worked for, they still won't take our collar off or help us escape at all. Considering how much we've done for them, that seems extremely despicable to me.

I don't know if it's just me being a sissy or what, but I just can't get over it. We've done so many things for them. It's a piece of cake for them to take our collar off and rescue us. Just a couple of orders, or actions, and that's it! They've thanked us! But no. “Helped me rise up the ranks of the biggest, badass slave trading family in the world? Well done, but you'll still be a slave because I'm a bitch.”, or ”Helped me with past problems and being my psychologist? “Great job, but you'll still be a slave because I don't care.” I still get a kick out of that thought.

I don't mean to be a bad person, but this plot twist seems terribly unfair to me. But that's subjective, maybe someone will like that, but I'm too delicate for that :).

You know, I've been rewatching the story and I've been thinking. At some point in this sci-fi space setting, it starts to get magical. Yeah, I mean Tavi. I'm not talking about coming off the drug, I'm talking about the rest of the story. Some kind of mark and horns and stuff. And then I was thinking. We need this. We need a magical skill tree!

You know, I don't want to offend anyone with the following words, but I will say this. I really like this game. There's just no other game like it. It is very convenient and interesting, in general, it has a lot of advantages. That's why I'm following its development on github.

And this is where the not so good part starts. The point is that, as strange as it may sound, I don't feel very good about slavery. Yes, it's silly and even hypocritical given the context of the game. But, given the context of the game, I was willing to put up with the kind of slavery that is currently presented in the game. 

But let's get to the point. The author is currently developing a new plot route, which will focus on a certain opponent of AlphaCorp, the Syndicate. More specifically, on one family, the Blacktail. The point is, they're even bigger slave traders than AlphaCorp. I'm... Not that it scares me, but it worries me a little. There's something close to a foreboding feeling like the author is going to do a shit job rather than a normal plot path.

Yeah, it could be that I'm just being a jackass and didn't realise the brilliant plot coming and that the author will make another great story, but hey, it's just a hunch I'm sharing. 

In simpler and shorter terms, I'm afraid the author will put even more emphasis on non-consent or some other not-so-great tininess. Man, I don't even know how to put my hunch into words. If you didn't understand anything I said, I'm sorry for taking up so much of your time. English is not my first language and I used a translator.

Maybe the modders will manage to do something, because the author of the original game, as far as I understand, does not look here.

Guys, on the github the latest pushed commit says that all animations are implemented. Do we expect an update?

Not quite sure what my next assumptions are, but I'll post anyway. On github stopped releasing new story content, now only animations are released there, from which I can conclude that the update will be released soon.

I'm tracking the development on github and at the moment the author is preparing a new quest line with at least two new characters. I'm not sure, but this is probably the dom route that the developer once wrote about. Basically the new content line will be based on slavery. I mean, even more so than before. And that's about all the spoilers I can throw in for now. 

Author, if you're reading, what do you think of the idea of adding the ability to remove the permanent chastity cage in some way? (By begging a cat-doctor or an engineer.)

Dude, take your time, there's no need to rush. Do it the right way, the way you want to do it.

So, I seem to remember the author saying he releases an update every month, on the third day. Does anyone know where the update is?

I'm just curious. After a certain point I follow the development of this game on github and if before the last update I understood what is being developed, now I stopped understanding. Can someone explain?

Where are the updates? The game was updated frequently. Or author is clawing a huge pile of content now?

Both would be great additions to the game. And it would be even better if, when defeated, the scene was not just described, but had some specific illustration. And defeats would have some consequences. Like increased lust or the same bdsm and/or chastity.

Looks better than expected. Maybe add straight and gay sex, add bdsm, better with chastity. Add more content and the game would turn out pretty good.

From my observations, updates are released every third month, which means definitely more than 60 days, but supposedly less than 90
