I agree 👍

Just kidding 😅 Ponds give horizontally and vertically adjacent fruit tiles a 10x boost in yield.

Ponds are beautiful. Everyone loves ponds.

Originally, I wanted to answer: "If you merge neighboring tiles, you get a 2x merge bonus" but after looking at the code, I have to tell you "if merged tiles are on the same row or column, you get a 2x merge bonus". This is obviously a feature, not a bug 😀💡

Oh yeah. Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Each fruit is worth 1 dollar when selling. So: 10 coconuts > $10, 100 bananas> $100.

However, different fruit plants produce different amounts of fruit per second:

  • Coconut: 1
  • Pineapple: 2
  • Banana: 4
  • Watermelon: 8

These base levels are for tier 1 crop fields. If you merge them, or place crops of the same type next to a field, you get multipliers per second.

Oh, they are quite cheap. A coconut is only $10. Well, that is the first coconut. The 10th coconut is "only" $5k (cheapo!).

And if you'd like pineapples, better keep your spare change because the first one starts at $1000 🤑

[🥥 Coconut Pro Tip] When hovering a shop item with the mouse, it shows its current price.

Hmm, yeah. The field that was deleted gets stuck. If you click the deleted tile after removing it, it should "unstick" itself.

We didn't add volume controls to this one. Please slice a coconut in half and place its halves over your ears.

great minds think alike 🤭

I love it :) It took me some time to understand the mechanic (about 2 keyboards smashed). The level with the tight passage in the middle was a nice twist, because it required to make use of pinky's grid movement.

Alright, @ldyaceina! The issue is now fixed 😅 You can merge panels by selecting the first, and then clicking the one you want to merge into. Have fun!

There is currently a WebGL build bug breaking the merging - we're actively looking into. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll let you know once a fix is published.

We are late 🙈 First-ever game jam submission of our team! We'll do better next time 🙇 https://flashmasterdash.itch.io/coconut-idland

Good one! Nice variety of defenses, and a twist by asking to balance between economy and attack. It could be a bit harder, since after a few waves, it is more or less won - this could be solved by having monsters get a lot harder after some time.

Another monster type would be nice too :)
