No, I just downloaded the game normally, but anyways I am able to open and play the game by spam clicking on the application. 😅
How do I get the game to run? I'm on windows but whenever I try to run the game, nothing happens...

I am having a similar problem. Mine just says, "The application “Digital Logic Sim” can’t be opened."
I am pretty sure this didn't happen before this update, so I don't know what could've caused it. This is on Mac of course.
This is amazing! I really want you or someone else to make this a full game!
