Alright thank you!

Would voice actors count as teammates?

I recall a choir not counting as teammates once.

Hey I wondered if you had a way of getting in contact. Maybe discord?

Nice! Managed to do it only spending 2 bullets in the shoot under them level!

Hey there are a few glitches, for example if you pick up multiple balls at the same time then it will remove them, if you kill an enemy while its holding a ball it removes it, and if you through a ball up against the frame of the gate it goes oob. Great game over all tho

definitely seems glitched.

no? looks more glitched to me

using an auto tiler for the floor, what do you recommend the rates be?

Thats intentional

This took me 40 minutes my first run.

ayo dont dis

not to mention the pain

just jump out??? like to the right

Ah such a shame. Any recommendations for other artist who would?

Hey your art is some of the best art I've ever seen. I was wondering if you take commissions.

Ah yeah cool. Maybe an keyboard based menu then so it is easy to press play?

Also just realized your the same person who made RGB. Loved that little game.

Pretty fun. May I recommend adding a visible cursor? It can make it a bit difficult to click play.

ah okay thank you

Hey! Your work is amazing. It makes for great art when I haven't gotten around to designing my characters. I was wondering if you would be able to split the characters sheets into 4 separate ones (for each direction).

Can you show up and down animation in the gif? Just to get an idea of what it looks like?

Very hard. Took me 1 attempt to finish.

Seriously though it is more meant as a joke so if you want me to make you an actual game tell me what you want it to be about and I will make it for you.

Thanks! Also the there and back again theme wasn't used as well as we wanted it to be due to time constraints. Originally you were meant to do the levels once and then do them again backwards with spot. But then we just didn't have time to design that complicated of levels.

On the topic of the screen size originally the screen was 2 times larger but we resized it after we realized we made it to big haha (I was unaware itchio would resize the game if we made the screen smaller so I thought it would just cut it all off) (Joshua confirmed that it's okay for us to do this).

haha in regards to the 4th puzzle you originally need to knock the snowball up from that point there is 2 solutions.

Also in regards to your youtube video it is really good and thanks for making one out of this game. I recommend that you lower your computer volume and up your voice volume!

I'm happy you enjoyed the game!

thanks. I ended up resizing haha

Alot. We originally were going to have 8 levels (and an extra secret one) along with a seperate tutorial.

Our puzzled were supposed to work forward and backwards.

We wanted an undo button

An item box showing what item you currently had

And arrow controls (we basically made our own movement system because we didnt think that the tile movement would cover what we were doing. We also made our own controller using the touch controls because it also doesnt seem to currently have a way to swipe.

All of the above we didnt do due to time constraints and not thinking we would finish in time.

We also wanted a much better menu, end screen, first level, final level (the level where you find your dog was going to have an actual puzzle), tutorial.

We also had a bunch of art we didnt add in such as

Boat animations while in water

Unenterable forests instead of walls

A better boulder

A background

Buttons

The above art we had but didnt add in due to time constraints (by the time I even got the file back from the artist there was 4 minutes remaining!!!

We also had ways to change the volume of the music and sound effects (separately) as well as the swipe distance.

That wasnt done due to not understanding enough about how to do something like that and we only had 3 hours left at the point I was adding menus and the pause menu.

A bigger restart and menu button would have been good but by this point it was really late for our artist so they couldn't design it.

We also had 10 people test our game about 30 minutes before. However we didnt have time to ask them about how they solved levels so level 3 is "cheese"able (and it seems most people solve it this way.)

Overall one more day to polish and get the last few things in would of been perfect. This is why schedules are important.

The one thing that I regret not adding at the start is a schedual. That is my biggest regret.

No. You can't reupload to the jam. However I do believe you can reupload to your own profile but you'd have to keep the current version in the jam. However I could be wrong about the upload to your own profile thing so double check that.

In the future I recommend finding a large amount of beta testers and testing a day or so early.

My team found about 20 beta testers from a Harry Potter discord we were in but we ran into the issue of testing about 1 hour to go.

It's good to get a good schedule going and leave enough time for testing!

I should be able to right? It isn't locked and it's not changing the actual games file or anything.

Ah sorry to here this. What do you play on?

discord!

my game has mobile support and I was wondering how to get the apple and android symbol next to my game.

Thank you. Its my first time publishing a game so I probably stuffed up it haha

Also no idea what game you mean I'm only 15 so I'm probably not old enough to know the game lmao

Works on mobile too!

There seems to be an error at the start of the game which returns the following

Can we include animations that make the color change though?

Pre-Made Jam 2 community · Created a new topic Animations?

Can we modify the sprites and stuff for animations? So keeping them the same but maybe making the dog  bob up and down for example? or making the ball do the squish effect?

If not can we use color based animations? The heart for example could become a darker red whenever something happens?

would there be anything id be able to contact you on? instagram? facebook?

Oh cool. Also my bad i thought it was a jam game, I thought i read something for some reason. Would you mind if i used the memory decay idea for a game I am making. I'll be sure to credit you!

Ah yeah cool. Can i ask how you got it working?

This has such a beautiful story... Maybe to show that these people are the main characters friends/family/lover or whatever we could have the main character as a different color next time? Idk if this was due to the jams rules or not but I think a blue color would of worked great (helps capture the emotion in the character).

thats the point i think
