I'm so sorry about your loss, your cat sounded like a sweetheart, even if a bit naughty. The loss of a pet is often, if not always, very difficult, and despite not having experienced something like this myself, I can tell how much it hurts. I hope you and your family will be well and always remember him fondly ;v;

This was a delightful story start to finish. Asher is way too cute and as a former film student I can appreciate another! B) He's a really sweet character and I loved to see his development to fully realizing his passion.
I also loved the UI, it's so adorable and fun! Interesting to also have the assignment page on the right, though a part of me wishes we could see Asher's camera closer haha!
All in all, really sweet game! Thanks for making this!
I just finished playing and I loved the game! A friend recommended it to me and, since I had it in my mind(mindmind) to play eventually, I thought I'd give it a try.
First of all, man, I wanted to beat up Geist every time he appeared! He's gorgeous and his voice is so smooth, but his words are venomous and they really make me think of my anxiety. I think that was intended? He truly feels like those horrible thoughts you may have about yourself, but with a human form. I even started thinking maybe I could picture him when I'm having those kinda thoughts to realize that those thoughts are not me, it's just this silly british ghost man trying to make me feel bad!
Jokes aside, though, I really enjoyed how he was written, I really felt a lot playing this.
Now, Kalei. I love him so much... he's so beautiful and sweet and I need one shipped to my house by tomorrow (joke). I loved how passionate he was about films, and being a film major myself you know that added to my love for him. Gosh he's such a lovable character- I liked seeing that he was also unsure or nervous about things sometimes, all his facets are precious.
I have to thank you for writing this, because it really got me thinking about anxiety AND gave me a precious husbando. So thank you!
I really enjoyed this game, I may even have teared up a bit with it! I'm ace, and I shared some of the feelings with the main character. I have not, however, gone on a date, and I have no idea how I'd react if I went on one. But those parts of "You'll find someone" and the whole metaphor of flowers blooming... man, I felt that.
And then when the friend is so supportive and has colors and everything... it was so sweet after everything was dark. It was sweet and I liked it a lot!
Beautiful story all around!
I finally played, and I really enjoyed it! First of all, the art is so gorgeous. I love how colorful and cute it is! Virgil is also very handsome, love his design. I also liked there not being a textbox and the UI there being rather minimalistic, it fits well!
The dialogue and banter was very fun, in such few words we really get to see Virgil as a character of his own. And I have to say I really liked that there was an option of "I'm good on my own, thanks". Sometimes you don't need romantic love and I'm happy that was acknowledged hehe! But the kiss was also super sweet...
All in all, 10 out of 10, would play this again
I loved reading all of this insight into the creation of the game! I can totally understand why you'd hate Pygmalion, he sounds like a very unpleasant man lmao! I can totally see a modern day Pygmalion wanting an anime waifu instead of real women
And I find it cool how you incorporated your own experiences. I feel a lot of AFAB people deal with that feeling of not wanting to be like other girls, like the ones guys complain about, and that's honestly terrible!
I already discussed most of my thoughts of the game in my comment, but again, I super loved this game!
AWW! The fact that my review made you happy makes ME so happy too!!!
(SPOILERS)
I think you did amazing with the parallels, they really work. There was a part in "The Statue" ending about the choices being programmed out of her that just... feels so raw. To know that you have based at least some of this on your own experience is huge and I hope you're in a better place currently ❤️
Yeah! I absolutely got that in that scene, I think you did the narrative so well! And of course I shared with friends, I love liveblogging when I play hehe, I kept saying how cool the game is and sending screenshots everytime I had a strong reaction haha! Sharing the game with my friends makes it ever more enjoyable >:3 (By the way they think it's very pretty)
That feeling when logistical decisions make the final product even better is so amazing ngl, I love that! Creativity truly is born from limitation sometimes!
And shush! You do deserve my kindness and more! You did an amazing job Chat! I hope you know that!!! ❤️
Just finished playing this game and my gosh, I LOVED IT! It deals with very heavy topics, but it does so with such grace- yet it weighs. You feel Yumeko's pain all through the game.
(Spoilers)
First I decided to say everything The Doctor would want to hear, but then accepted that life... and god, it hit. It feels so close to what I've heard abuse victims go through. They have nowhere else to go, no job, no support system, they only have their partner... And that's terrifying. I'm so amazed at how the story of an AI woman, born from code, still can connect so much to humans, turned to robots to survive.
Then I got "The Woman" ending, and I kinda liked that small moment she had where she acknowledged how it's not just him that's the problem- he was created too by the world he lives in, the people he surrounds himself with, but that doesn't take away the harm he's done.
Lastly I got "The Statue" and it hurt everytime her choices got removed, seeing how she started to change shape (good job on the horror elements, too!) I kept sharing with my friends being like "NOOOOO" everytime she changed. It was so sad how she had no more options anymore...
All in all, this game is absolutely beautiful, from the art, to the script and the sound. The choice to have different voice actresses in narration was actually so powerful. At first I didn't get it, until I saw the differences in the endings... and wow, it's so good with them representing different parts, or roles. I loved this game!
Thank you so much for your super sweet review, Chim! I shared it with the team and we're all so delighted by your words!
Using sprites in a more dynamic way is something I definitely want to add more often to my VNs, especially after I got my first taste of it with The Widow's Shadow! I'm hoping that for the full version we'll be able to do even more! >:3 To tell you the truth about the silhouettes, it was a time saving measure, but you saying that it works well with the narrative makes me so happy, maybe I should lie and say it was my intention all along, haha!
As for the designs, I'm honestly SO glad I got Pen to work with me for this, she did such a good job! I knew I wanted a sort of "fantasy Ancient Greece" look for the outfits, with real historical inspirations but with freedom to go wild as well, and Pen delivered so good (chef's kiss). I am so excited to keep working on more characters for the game because I get so excited with each and everyone!
Originally I was planning to make the CGs, but then got Spicy on the team to help since I still had sprites to finish, and I'm also so amazed at how well she did. I'm hoping she can make tons more for the full game fr, and I think her style fits well with mine!
I honestly could give praise to the entire team if I keep going, but then when will this comment end? Ha! I'm just super glad you liked the work everyone put in. Again, it made us super happy!
And I'm so so glad you enjoyed the story! I cannot tell you how nervous I was, like "Will people like it?", "Will people think this is weird?" (anxiety, am I right?) so reading your feelings about it (plus that you caught on to some stuff ;3) is a relief and brings me joy. I researched the myth and tried to keep it faithful in some areas, while doing a bit of my own thing in others, like with the mystery elements, actually being able to talk to some deities (and in the future, the way Demeter may act in some situations...)
The full game may take a while, but I promise it will be worth it (so now I better deliver on that promise, huh?!)
Thanks again for your lovely review <3
Very neat game! I found the dynamic between Anubis and Seth quite interesting. Though at times I was lost as there were terms I don't know (I don't know much about Egyptian mythology, sadly!) I know that given the limitations of o2a2 adding something like a glossary would likely not be possible, so for what it's worth, I still enjoyed it a lot!
The art is beautiful and I really love Seth's eyes especially! I also found the way you describe what different areas of the body / face do quite interesting.
Will be fun to see what more you do with these characters!
I really only now got to play it, as I'm looking for more Greek Myth inspired VNs, and I'm glad I finally did! It's not how I expected at first, but gosh it's so cute and funny! I love all the little ducks, and your art is always a delight to see! I really enjoyed the credits illustrations, really gorgeous!
I loved this tale of how they met, and the little theater in extras talking more about the Iliad and Odyssey. All around fun!!
It took me a while to play, but finally did!
It's beautiful, nostalgic, and heartbreaking. I had to step aside at one point because it was hitting me quite hard, haha! But nevertheless, I enjoyed the game. The visuals are lovely, and the writing really gets you into the mind of Min-ji. Slowly, you begin to suspect something is off, but can't be sure what it is... until it happens. Until it starts again.
Really lovely game!
I was saddened when it ended, because I wanted to continue seeing the story unfold! I'm so excited for the drama to come.
So far, this introduction has made me very interested in the story and the characters. Comaetho feels dedicated, but like she's going through the motions of being a priestess, wanting something more. That something more may just be this kind shepherd boy... Exciting!
The art is lovely, you have been improving! I love the painterly style for the colors, it's so soft and dream-like.
All in all, can't wait for more!
Despite how short it is, it brought me some big feelings. With only a few clues, we can imagine those past days of the owner and their cat, down to their last moments together. It's beautiful, and it's sad. Having to let go is hard, and those last sentences before I finally let go... they felt heavy, but true. In the end, you have to let go.
An adorable and heartfelt story, I liked it a lot.
It took me so long to try this game, and I know it's on hiatus, but I had to play the demo still!
The characters are really charming, and I wish to know more of them. I'm wondering what's happening with the protagonist's sister, and what will happen with all the people we've met so far. I did feel a bit bad for Harry being rejected so brutally, but I get it, ha! He is however very charming and I would love to know him more heh.
All in all, if this continues development, I will be excited to see.
This game has been on my backlog for far too long and I've finally given it a try! I really enjoyed the story, I really felt the pressure the title so indicates, and felt for our protagonist's plight. Getting the good endings was a delight, and I think Deskarte's relationships with both Yugto and Sana are as sweet as cake.
The art is beautiful, I really like the character designs, and I even find the heirs to be adorably charming!
I'm happy to finally have gotten to play, and even learn a few tagalog words along the way! Thanks for making this <3
This game is a delight from start to finish! First, the main menu is already super pretty, but honestly I'm completely charmed by the entire UI! It's gorgeous!
The character designs are beautiful and their personalities really shine through with the dialogue. I'm also really intrigued by the mystery!
Really excited to see more of this game!
The concept of the isekaid person only knowing the context through posts and memes is very amusing, and showing us said memes makes it all the funnier!
I enjoyed playing this little demo, and I'm super intrigued by these characters. Not only are their designs lovely, but they seem to have more going on than it looks at first! I also loooove the voice acting!
This is really fun and I'm excited to see more of it!
This has been in my backlog long enough! And I've finally played it!
I'm honestly super intrigued by the plot, each of the characters seem so intriguing on their own, but their relationships are also so so curious! The stakes are high for our protagonist and we don't know who to trust, it's really spicy!
My only complaint would be that it feels as if the game expects us, the player, to know things we won't necessarily know when talking with clients. For example, I didn't know what aqua tofana was, so I chose to have Catherine go check her notes, and it felt as if I were being reprimanded a bit. It may make sense in character for Aravind to find it odd, but with no choice as a player to know what I'm working with other than looking it up, it doesn't feel entirely fair.
The art is beautiful, and the writing is delightful, each character having their unique personality that really shines through in their dialogue. I really want to see more of them! The GUI is absolutely gorgeous, too, I was really charmed by it!
I'm excited to see more of this game!
I finally played this game, woo! It was very fun. The art is gorgeous, the music delightfully smooth and the dialogue intriguing and seductive. I'm left wanting to know more about Kali!
Kate as a protagonist is really endearing, I really felt their people pleasing plight. They're funny and sweet and I hope they get the excitement they deserve >:3 (and that Creampuff gets tasty meals)
Awesome game as always, Kristi and everyone! <3
(Same as my review to give you that sweet engagement)
This was a short but delightful story. I like how you can easily see some of the characters' distinct characteristics even in this brief time, from their manner of speech to jobs and likes.
Their relationship seemed so sweet to me, and I think they're absolutely adorable! Paris is an absolute king and I want the best for these two!
Being ace myself, this feels like a lovely dream, and I love that~
