In the first loop you always get the bad end, then you get the chance to get the good end every loop going forward.  Always be defiant, argumentative, and oppositional to Niles when  given choices.

How come certain names are crossed out when you decide who to pursue? I am playing through the game currently and after doing V's route I decided to try for Misaki, but I remembered that their name is crossed out. What triggers that?

That's fair!  I'm glad you were able to enjoy these fun characters in this little spin-off at least ^_^

All I'll say is, if you liked it you should check out the main game these characters are from, NonPlatonic Forms. (if you didn't, then ignore me XD)
