if you're planning to make a final patch/sequel-followup, I think it'd be neat to have a higher interruption time, I have a lot of moments where I time the attack but it's either slightly too early, or I trade with the attack, and I can't capitalize on the stun, it's pretty annoying, also more time before the kappa attack, might just be a skill issue on my part but I couldn't defeat her without MDK lal

Try using windows compatibility modes, XP sp3 should work nicely

Real cool demo , there's amazingly high attention to details and it's fairly easy to pick up with a lot of cool stuff in there,

Some of the mechanics are unusual in other fgs (EX moves being different inputs / mashing a special button) but it's what spices up the labbing I did. I'm gonna try to play games at my locals, but until then consider this review incomplete.

here's some important info to help anyone who wants to check this out.

First of all, please set the speed to 10 in the settings, higher or lower will heavily mess with the game, since there's a fairly high amount of timing dependent stuff.

Joysticks messes up the engine because it's expecting 2 pads but doesn't dectect them,please be patient, 2Dfm2nd is a 20 y/o engine. If you want to use pads, i recommand something like AntiMicro or Joy2Pad.

You'll need to select a character as Player 2 in order to start the game

I hope to see more of it, preferably in a slightly less janky engine if possible.

A map creator wouldn't be awful.

community maps sounds really cool and interesting

while we're on the topic of controllers, a easier way to rebind the controllers' buttons wouldn't be awful

Seriously, I feel like this game have a small problem about momentum. While it's not as bad as in one of your main inspiration from a certain publisher it's a bit slow and the fun stops when you lose the momentum.

I'll start with my idea:

I feel like having individual time trials would be neat, while a open world favours exploration, a more linear level is about pure, unadulterated platforming challenges, and no empty space to slow down the momentum.

When you try to wallride, sometimes you go in the opposite direction. *vid kinda related*

I couldn't really capture footage of me doing that.

So I found this while playing on the mobile version. Not sure if it's still on Ep1. Even then it's a minor problem probably.

Edit: The low FPS is probably because of the recorder I used to get this video.
