Hi all!
I'm looking for a 2D artist to commission for tilesets, objects, and units for a game that I am working on. What I would like to do is, after we agree on a price per asset, we schedule up to $500 USD of assets per month until we make it through everything that I would like to pay for.
The tiles would be in an overhead perspective, similar to the game Elona (Img) where there is no "sides" of buildings, just walls, which is a style also seen in some older RPGs like Dragon Quest. I'm looking for tiles that are bit less noisy / more JRPG-ish / colorful than for example the tiles in the screenshot of Elona above. 48 x 48.
Overall, the amount of assets that I want to commission are
- ~12 wall / floor combination tilesets
- ~200 "objects" (e.g. bushes, trees, shelves, furniture, potions, armor, weapons, scrolls, etc.)
- ~150 front-facing unit sprites
- A customizable character sprite with top/left/right/down directions, with ~16 parts per major body part (head, body, legs, feet, arms)
That number will likely go up as I continue working.
