i have the same thing, i think its because I used to have a dialogue box every time I entered staff island that disappeared eventually. idk how to fix it but good luck.

I have also started noticing the HP/SP & time thing in the top left sometimes disappears and reappears every once in a while.

the game looks awesome and i'm super glad to be a part of it in its early stages!

you should join their team and help them out!

Here are some bugs that I've run into so far, I hope this really helps! Yall are making a great game and I sense some incredible potential in the game, keep it up!

• When I start the quests, the quest pop-up wont display any text/only displays "1".

• the zombies at the end scene of quest #1 are sometimes rotated weird/wrong and wont disappear for a while.
• In the #3 quest when I try to fry the fish for the chest/white cat, the fireplace will only let me make roasted mushrooms and not any fish or others.
• when I attempted the #4 quest (Oni) when I eventually found her, and inevitably lost the arm-wrestle, I was told to talk with Mary for something to help, but when I went to Mary for help, I was told "You are in the middle of this quest".
• when entered the hotel all the way to the right side in ocean drive, I couldn't get back out and had to restart. (no worries I wasn't very far anyway).
• a small one was when I tried to fish at the light house but accidently hit the cancel button, the next time I tried to do it I started fishing with my waist inside the dock.
• After the black cat scene in the alley, I was fine and could continue normally, but a copy of myself kept going with the girl.
• sometimes the dialogue pop-ups wont display any text or wont pop up at all.
• I am having some trouble getting through chap. 1, but I will persevere and continue enjoying the game ;D 

I hope these help out! I am loving the design of the game and especially the character design, I think this game will become big if it keeps going.
