Played it on Steam back in September. Was on a bit of a 2D space game binge after playing Starcom Nexus. Bought UE on here 9 years ago, apparently. Can't say I haven't got my money's worth over the years, though my initial purchase was more of a thank you for the X mods he did.

Lol. Pretty sure I've been wanking left-handed since I got a mouse and that was back when porn was ASCII or you were prepared to wait 20 minutes for a grainy "Page 3" photo to download. Good times!
Congrats on the Steam release! Kinda wishing I'd bought it here with the patch faff but no biggy.
On PC the default textbox is REALLY dark, hiding a lot of the "action". If you're feeling brave look for the textbox.png file in the GUI folder, copy it for safety then open with GIMP or your editor of choice and change the opacity. In GIMP this is in the layer menu - wind it down to about 20% or so then export the file as textbox.png again. If you export to a different folder, copy it back to where the original was installed, overwriting it (remember to make that backup just in case!)
I'm not one to comment on abandoned games, but it was kinda annoying me so I did a Google. Hopefully it helps anyone else who finds this game.
A lot of the old school Japanese Visual Novels had censored releases on Steam, with wide availability of uncensored patches, released with a wink and a nod. It let them release on Steam (and elsewhere) but people buying the game knew they could have it uncensored if they wanted.
So just turn Alice into a Golden Retriever on Steam and have a patch. People like dogs, you might sell even more that way. Wait, make Alice, Chloe's bewildered granny. People like GILFs, you might sell even more that way.
