Description

In Veneficium, you play as a witch-in-training called Alice. Alice has to use her ice, fire and storm ability to platform around the world. Use your abilities to manipulate your environment and solve unique and fun puzzles on your way. Throughout her journey, Alice encounters many troubled witches that are in dire need of help. During the game, you will collect items for curing potions, find hidden witches within the levels, and use your spells to destroy dangerous Floating Crystals and Chaos Orbs that block your path! The simple, yet endearing and vibrant environment in Veneficium is definitely worth taking a look at. The aesthetics in our game may even take you back to the old days of Sonic the Hedgehog and the level design will remind you of Banjo-Kazooie. Will you help Alice on her journey to save the witches in her coven?

Here's a game me and my team of 15 people are making in 14 weeks :) any support would be appreciated! Final version with most bug fixes will be out next week, maybe it's best to play that version as it'll be mostly bug free.

Hello everyone! We are a group of students from the Netherlands making a game in just 14 weeks. We will be releasing the final version of Veneficium in just two weeks, so feedback is definitely appreciated! The game we are making is called Veneficium. If you're interested in our game, do keep on reading. 

What is our game about? 

In Veneficium, you play as a witch-in-training called Alice. Alice has to use her ice, fire and storm ability to platform around the world. Use your abilities to manipulate your environment and solve unique and fun puzzles on your way. Throughout her journey, Alice encounters many troubled witches that are in dire need of help. During the game, you will collect items for curing potions, find hidden witches within the levels, and use your spells to destroy dangerous Elemental Miasmas and Chaos Orbs that block your path!

The simple, yet endearing and vibrant environment in Veneficium is definitely worth taking a look at. Hello! 

We are a group of students from the Netherlands making a game in just 14 weeks! We are making a game called Veneficium for this project. Most of us have no experience in making games, so this has definitely been a challenge. I (the person writing this) am one of the designers of the team, and I also have marketing as my side job. I've learned it's very hard to get yourself out there as a game dev, but it's been really fun to see our little community grow.
