The full game is planned to be 7-ish regions.  So, a lot.
Don't worry though! We have some systems (Including a checkpoint-ish thing) that will make sure it's possible to beat the full game without totally losing it.

Yeah subtitles are planned, and will be in for the full release.

As for the lag spikes, I had no idea this was happening until it was reported to me recently. I'm pushing a new update now which will hopefully fix it, so let me know!

Lets just say it's meant to lead into the visual aesthetic of the next region after the demo: Habitation. I hope that once you see the look of that area in the full game it will all kind of make sense!

Yeah, it takes some getting used to, but you can do some real speedy schmooving once you get into it.
