IT'S OUT! I've been looking forward to this for a while~
Great job on finishing it so fast! Take care of yourself!
This is really fun - A very fun psychological horror visual novel turn-based teen drama!
I love the silly little easter eggs, and I always have a soft spot for odd pixelart. Easy to get into, sweet, well implemented replay value. And I have developed an emotional attachement to the Frogs. They deserve a raise.
We've been playing for a while now, trying to figure out the little details, and I love how the little snippets of story are presented. I'd love to know more - Like why are only Nadine and Mary having Rooms? What is with the red room and the doorman? (If anything, I would like more possible conversations with characters, and more variety)
There is potentially a bug when fighting the Deer Man? - Despite Dying, he died at the same turn due to the holy handgranade, and we proceeded on to the third area (guaranteed death still).
While I prefer finished experiences, I think this game has great opportunity for community content, occasional updates, spin-offs and the like. But maybe moreso for a jumping board for another game from the creator~ I'll definitely follow and be curious as to what else they'll make! Thank you so much, we had lots of fun playing!
This game is having a very nice gameplay loop, it is simple but fun - almost a rhythm game, which I love. My current record is at 75 with a height of 45~
But I seriously paid more attention to the klickclackclakk sound than the visuals. This could really be a rhythm game, with like, a changing speeding up track at certain heights and changing surroundings. It would be legit fun.
However, I dearly missed the ability for a quick-restart, by just like hitting space, or the game simply starting over when you fall. The zeppelin is very cute, and I had surprisingly much fun trying to beat my own high score!
Had fun playing with my partner! Controls a bit clunky, it is difficult to pick up items and the platforming would benefit from some more coyote time, and it would be really enhanced by some sfx and music.
We put on some epic viking music in the background and that added a lot to it! We were playing like two idiots shouting BROTHER and epic tales at each other, and it was absolutely hilarious to throw another around. There are a lot of good ideas and puzzle elements, and really
being epic and throwing each other
It was a blast
We really enjoyed ourselves! Refining the platformer elements or focusing on the puzzle elements would help a long way for any future games. The more cooperative puzzles were especially fun. Liked the pixel artstyle too, very nice ambience!
Good day! I was redirected here from Deviantart and wanted to leave a comment.
As far as I am concerned, the graphics are simple and cute, the programming is smooth and the music matches the game. In overall, everything matches to each other, and that is a great thing to achieve as a team - it's a kind of magic... So keep it up :D
