I would suggest that you restart the game anyway. Vic7 is putting a lot of effort into making this and it would be a shame if you miss updated content 😉 and we nag him all the time with ideas, it's actually evil at some point 😂😈

Hey, I play on android 9. EMUI 9.1.0 (huawei p20 lite) and when the parts with the text messages happen, the game crashes very often. Sometimes even when reloading. Especially when texting with River. I got through in the end, but it took like forever. 

You need a zip extractor app and JoiPlay (you can get it on the Google store)  😉 then you extract the zip to a folder of your liking,> start JoiPlay > add game > do what it asks of you (add game name, version, select the file from folder, etc) > complete 🌸😊 play. 

It takes some time to load so be patient
